I got this today while driving Dec 23 ER Lariat. I was on a back road when the screen went blank and rebooted.......then I had new icons, etc. Glad I got the update kinda of surprised it installed while I was driving.
Coming from a Tesla M3P the only thing better in my Tesla was the sound system in my opinion. I prefer all the physical buttons in my Lightning and the ability to use Android Auto.
Here is the honest truth EV Range is not consistent. It can fluctuate wildly. You have 86 results and how many variables? Time of day, driving speed, Wind Speed, Truck load, passenger count, pro power usage, climate control usage, terrain, etc. No one test can account for all of that. Take...
Tried FSD today on the Wife's Y it's pretty good. Acceleration is a little fast and unnatural though. I have it set to normal, will need to try the other modes. I still prefer BC on the highway with hands free. Maybe it's because I used AP for so long with hands on.
Make sport mode the normal mode......coming from a Tesla it feels the most like how an EV should behave.

I like having access to all the F150 accessories so don't go completely crazy with...
They should have used a Lariat, but the price discrepancy would have been to great. So instead they picked up a heavier and lower range F150 then maxed out the battery on the R1T while also decreasing it's 0-60 from 4.5 to 3.5 (does the performance have different suspension as well?) Poor...
Not if you have a 22 or 23 ER. They have dual onboard chargers you can use the whole 80amps theoretically. If you have 2024 they all max out at 48 amps, with the exception of some Pro ER's for businesses.
The Tesla blueprint is still to be decided, they have made a lot of questionable moves that have hurt the brand. We will see how great Tesla is over the next few years now that they have saturated the market and have good competition. Their best decision to date is the SC Network, that's a money...
I think the extender cable is a good idea. It will solve the issue if Ford doesn't move the charging port when switching to NACS and you arrive at V3 station with the short cable. By the way I hope they don't change the location. I installed my out door charger to reach the current charge port...
I installed the FCSP outside, that 80amp fast charging is convenient. I tried our 40amp Tesla charger which is inside, but the battery is a lot bigger than my Tesla's and takes a lot longer to charge. If you can swing it, I recommend using the full onboard charging capability you paid for and...
