The BlueCruise thing that I can't figure out is the lane bouncing- I end up using just a one light hand to keep the steering wheel and just the vehicle from back and forth motion. My Bold EUV with Chevy's version never did that.
I've noticed with mine, similar experience, but I really need to push that lock button to get the lock to happen. I'll try the slide method mentioned. It's a pain for me, I'm used to my Toyota or Bolt, which was a touch or slide- no issues with either.
I forgot, independent... Just quick searching isn't great. Looks like there are only helper bags for inside the coil. I'd be curious if you could just replace the current coils with some from an expedition (I checked for any air bags for them, nothing with the independent suspension). Just...
Interesting post. I'd put rear air bags on it for sure. Also, check out Hellwig anti sway bars. I've done both in other trucks for campers and works like a charm. Good luck.
I'm in the same boat, coming from a Bolt EUV- I liked the 1PD, and so far, prefer the 2PD. I also, really liked the button for changing this on the fly quickly. Other minor annoyances, but I really like the truck.
You need to check out this guy's company. It's worth a call to discuss. Seems legit and will negotiate a better deal. https://collisionsafetyconsultants.us/
