Today the final 2.5.3 installed with Sync Version 22034 Rev: 364 and now I have bed camera at speed. Long road to get here after replacing my APIM in late February and afterwards all my OTA updates started working.
Now just to get the driveshaft insulation recall completed.
Posted on Thursday I got 2.5.1 and today I got 2.5.2. I noticed when I looked at FordPass to clear my notifications for Secure Alert. Also had the BlueCruise notification stating it was activated. Even though it was 9:30 pm EST I had to go for a test drive, and it works quite well.
Here is...
OEM is below a high-quality paint shop (as seen on TV like Bitchin Rides) where they completely disassemble the vehicle, sand, prime, paint, cut & buff, and reassemble. Aftermarket uses thicker paint and can spray more paint and clear more layers, which helps with chips and the like. Also...
Well, like many here I got my new APIM installed and received a few updates including 2.1.
Now my phone pairing disappears each time I turn off the truck, so I have to repair each time I start the truck.
FordPass does not keep authorization after ignition is turned off and on.

This was an interesting thread to read as I have had a Line-X in my last three trucks and never had an issue with the cleat install or removal. Line-X removes and re-installs the mounting plates. The go in and out without little effort.
That is correct. My home Wi-Fi is WPA2 with a 12-character password. I search and select the network on the screen, and it prompts me to type the password.

You can only connect to networks that are open (no password) or private (password protected) on home routers the same as you would connect a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. I have been able to connect to my home network, my smartphone hotspot (didn't use, just checked connection), or kid's homes...
For a few years now the F150s have had two Auto Start options: 1. Last setting. 2. Auto (which goes by outside temperature to activate A/C or Heat w/heated seats & wheel.
I am in a similar situation as you. This update failed a few times OTA so went to dealer, where it failed using USB stick. So, dealer ordered new APIM, which is schedule to be installed Wednesday, since the software at the dealer showed the install failing at the APIM each time.
I notice that the Line-X vs. factory liner goes over the edges of the tailgate. What about between the bed and tailgate. Line-X wraps 1/2" around the edges.
I have the Power Tailgate, Step, and Work Surface. I love the Power Tailgate when I am dropping my wife at the door and then drive up when she walks out and I can open and then close the tailgate for her. I also enjoy the 'knee' feature with the Power Tailgate when my hands are full and I can...
You can use one of two settings for the Remote Start Climate Controls for A/C & Heat, seats, and steering wheel.
1. Auto - when the vehicle is below a specified temperature the seats and steering wheel will warm.
2. Last Setting - this allows you to turn on the heated seat(s) and steering wheel...
