Found it. Thanks for the fast responses. So many settings!
  2. Brake hold not working

My truck use to have brake hold. You would push on the brake at a stop and a small light would come on the bottom left of the gauge cluster. Now it doesn’t do it. Was there something in an update that deactivated it or did something accidentally get turned off?
  3. Ford's going to lose me with not showing me state of charge %

    Have you considered a therapist?
  4. Cybertruck vs Lightning

It’s amazing how something can be so cool yet so stupid at the same time.
  5. Electrify America to only allow charging to 85%

I love the idea about getting charged extra if you leave your vehicle plugged in after it has reached fully charged. I ran into that recently at a resort that had free charging. Someone left their Volvo plugged in for 12 hours and it was just a plug in hybrid. Fully charged after two hours...
  6. Can't buy a vehicle if it is going to strand me

I know dozens of people with Tesla’s and you would be the first to say anything negative. Interesting. Sorry you had a bad experience. I was more going off the reliability of EVs in general, not specifically Teslas.
  7. Can't buy a vehicle if it is going to strand me

This is simple, don’t buy an EV truck. Maybe a Tesla is a better option, or a plug in hybrid. Our lightning is great for our lifestyle, but they are not for everyone.
  8. Truck died 5 miles from home

Since having my lightning I have often thought of being in your situation. I grew up in Texas. If I had an EV in that state I think I would always have a 10kw generator in the bed with 10 gallons of fuel if I went on any road trip. It sounds ridiculous I know. As much fun as they are, they just...
  9. What do you call / name your Lightning?

My kids call it Bolt. Every time we get on an on-ramp, the yell “do a lightning bolt dad!”
  10. Pricing Lowered for 2024 Lightning! (Effective April 5, 2024)

Ahh, that makes sense. Learn something new every day.
  11. Pricing Lowered for 2024 Lightning! (Effective April 5, 2024)

So the difference, if my math is correct, is about 4 hours. 11 hours to a full charge at 11 KWH, 7 hours at 17 kwh. This is based off a dead truck needing about 120 kwh. Why do you need to be charged 4 hours sooner? Either way, if you drain the battery most the way it will still be charged...
  12. I finally found my breaking issue with this truck. Don't read this unless you want to hate your truck too.

If you are ready to get rid of a vehicle because of a blinker out of sinc, you may have other issues. You dont need a new vehicle, you need a therapist.
