BTW, a Ford CS rep told me to try this for the HIS:
1-Refresh fordpass
2-Turn on vehicle after power goes out
3-keep vehicle on
4-unplug charger wait 2 min
5-plug back in, try manual power transfer, wait 5 min. to see if it starts.
How do you download this? I have automatic updates turned on in the FordPass app, but it just shows 10.1.1 (or it did, that isānow it says itās āunable to retrieve details right now.ā) Thanks!
Do you have a telephone # for Ford as to this specific issue? The one I had been using, 800-777-6609, is disconnected. Also, any suggestions on how to determine if I have the V34 update?
I had mine working fine in test āoutages.ā Now, it wonāt work. Tried the unlock button/unplug/wait/replug method.
Two things: 1-I had charged the truck to 100%, as this was going to be a āplanned outageā by the power company, and 2-I had the truck in for 20k maintenance AND to fix a āparking...
For the Ford account: Iām getting the same error message on my ā23 Lightning. The āfront viewā camera image is also cloudy, although I have carefully cleaned each one of the visible cameras/sensors.
This happened to me, too. I will try to remember what I did to get it to work. I know I had to get the right rear seat area of the truck within about 4ā of the charger, then open the right rear door and fold that seat down (the truckās Bluetooth is there). I also reset the truck modem a few times.
Update: The lock button trick worked on the third try! I am at 10.1.1 also. Fingers crossed that it keeps working. I fully empathise with everybody for whom it isnāt working.
BTW I went with a non-SunRun master electrician for the installation.
I had mine finally working (on test runs) a few months ago. Now there is a power outage and it is stuck at āpreparing to provide power.ā I have tried resetting the truck modem, and the unlock button trick, to no avail. It doesnāt seem to be a communication issue since the truck and the app both...
I have now been able to enable/activate the system. However, so far it seems like I have to āāre-pairā the truck each time I want to test the system. The problem there is that the ChargeStation Pro and my phone (and maybe the truck) must all be connected to my home WiFi, the router/modem for...
The Ford person I talked to advised doing the modem reset I think you mentioned. Did that 2x & still not working to pair it. Will post pics next time I try it.
I now see a problem that may be at the root of some of this.
The M Professional app indicates āno device foundā even when Iām holding my phone a few inches from the inverter.
