While I agree it's not a not a quick "easy" process, it can be done at home...
Many meth/heroin producers/dealers already have the acids, ventilation, burners needed to do it and if they're getting several grams of palladium from a pair or several powerboost cats they traded for a few bucks...
I think you missed the point of my post.
"Although the quantities vary by model, on average, only one standard catalytic converter contains about 3-7 grams of platinum, 2-7 grams of palladium, 1-2 grams rhodium. That provides serious gains when tons of scrap catalytic converters are recovered."...
Some skids just bolt in, some using security bolts, it’s not a anti-theft device really, it’s a theft deterrent, while the Talon Garage plate would be a “slight” deterrent imho, the aluminum ones might as well be warm butter if they’re getting under it with angle grinder and a cutoff wheel...
That likely won’t help the situation, most these CATs are high value because of the high Platinum, Palladium, and Rhodium in them. While fencing the CATs is easier than extracting the precious metals, the precious metals will still hold value and if demand increases due to said laws, you can...
Been having a glum week and this is definitely brought a smile to my face, can't wait to get my bucket o' mud.
Are you planning on launching an interior application? Different mud sheens?

I ordered the “cupholder” since it was $20 and I was paying $10 for shipping everything else regardless of whether I added it or not.
Got lucky on Fords dime this time.

edit: please post pics when...
I hope the Lightning buyers have a wonderful experience and love there trucks. That’s not sarcasm, I genuinely hope the F-150 lives on as the Lightning since society is marching toward replacing ICE. I hope one day a Lightning can go 300+ miles towing a 5000lb trailer, that would be an EV truck...
I’ll talk if only one person is interested in listening.
We love the car, 8 year power train warranty is still active although it hasn’t been needed. I was fortunate enough to have my breaker panel in the garage right next to where we park the X. So I hooked up the 40 AMP myself, charges it...
If you buy them from Ford and pay a Ford dealer to install them, they will be factory and ESP warranty protected.
I bought them from Ford, I’ve decided to keep them and will probably provide more information in a future thread, but I’m not trusting the 3M tape to keep them secure and think it’s...
I ordered 601s in July, got them in November for my 15, have decided to just wait and put them on my 22 whenever it gets here.
I too am interested in a side shot.
