Of course the dealer scanned my truck and said modules are all up to date to latest. No sign of ML3T-19J297-DH. I'm still on ML3T-19J297-BA
Service advisor even said the update came out in the past couple days.
Still waiting I guess. Glad they have pickup and dropoff service.
I can’t understand why they would be still loading a known faulty s/w version then. And oasis/PTS would have a notification if this was the case too.
I had the dealer put my VIN in FDRS and they said I had a TRM update available. I updated March 21st already. I’ll have them do it and see what I get.
I agree, this is assuming we correctly assumed a later software version than what we have before March 31st is an indicator of the fix in the software for this. There may be something more going on we don't even understand. Which is why Ford needs to give us some more info on these recalls and...
@Jesse-Infotainment
Any chance you can please run my VIN for available updates ? I updated to BC and all available on March 21. But wondering if there are any pending updates like TRM to get the recall done this week

Thank you!
The problem is that dealers have mechanics working on this and it take a little bit of technical computer knowledge to understand what is being done while following procedures to update computer modules. It a training issue, but also a background issue as well. Dealers will need to start hiring...
I also tow a Grand Design and have had the problem with the Trailer Brakes since I got the Truck in July 2021. It was built in June 2021. Its interesting another trailer didn't give you any problems but the Grand Design did. I'm no expert on electric trailer brakes, but I wonder if there are...
After all the APIM updates and IPC updates, my menu in my instrument panel Menu appears by default after I restart the truck and it doesn't retain its last selection. Is everyone's doing this?
They had only 67 reports of nearly 400,000 and needed time to diagnose fix test and distribute. 100% of owners aren’t towing, and the ones that are and had the problem weren’t reporting it properly.
Article's are now saying they are alerting customers starting on April 18th. I would assume the update will be out by then.

There's a way to check the software version that is installed from an iPhone, you can post it and we can compare the version to what I installed last week before the recall was released. The version I have was released in Feb. If its a later version, it could tell us that you have a newer one...
Why would a detailed service procedure be available for dealers to currently perform the fix if the update isn’t released? What’s even more confusing is it points to an ITRM module in the module list for FDRS that doesn’t seem to exist.
