I think I've found my twin, you just started a year ahead of me. 100k / 27 months = 3.7k/month... I'm at 58k / 15 months = 3.8k/month so we could be twins.
I've just a got a long commute, good thing I have 10-hr days so only commute 4 days per week.
My OEM tires (Goodyear Wrangler) still have...
I checked for my 2023, wasn't included... appears to only apply to 2025 models and fix will be via OTA update per below link:

Hey look at the bright side, if you kept talking that service manager might have thrown in a free oil change.
I have the rotary shifter now and definitely don't want to swap back, seen too many comments here from owners who had issues with the replacements too. On the other hand, the number...
I've only had one trip where I was gone for 10 days but have another coming up. On the first trip (no idea if it helped but things were fine when I returned), I had the truck plugged in and set the charge level to about 60%, then every couple days I'd go into the app and increase the charge...
I've had that happen a couple times, but then again also had it happen now and then 40 years ago when 90% of the shifters were on the steering column, so it's not common but does happen.
I have one with round cup holder and found the below 2-pack for $4, used the black one (wife was happy to have the green one in kitchen for opening jars) and cut the diameter down about 1/4" at at time until it fit nice and snugly. Now the screw head (mine has one of the screws there) is...
...and slightly different than the above, if someone wants my OEM shifter that was launching codes daily and doing the "ducka ducka" noise for curiosity/troubleshooting, just send me a PM as it's sitting in a box in my basement and I am never putting it back in my truck and I don't advise others...
On my 2023, I never stowed the shifter a single time, and the powertrain errors started popping up at 43k miles, no idea why but seeing all of the posts on this forum and reddit clued me in as to what was going on.
There certainly are (seems more are reported on reddit than here), my 2023 was affected despite not being subject to this CSP and my never having folded the shifter down ever.
I'll take the rotary shifter any day of the week, so glad I swapped mine out.
I'm not giving up the rotary shifter, have seen several posts here and on reddit from owners who have reported issues with second or even third shifters, and remember there was a QA hold on that part for a few weeks wasn't there? No thanks, my rotary shifter is working fine so not inviting...
I also have an XLT with the smaller screen, see post 361 of this same thread where I added a few notes and pics from my install. It may have been cleaner to "pull some dash trim and unscrew the bottom controls to pull the center trim" but I ended up using a big screwdriver to pry things apart...
Looks like the same thing as both are related to misaligned electrodes:
Here's one link I found that mentions 25V131

Similar link that also references 25S18

It started when I had 43k miles, and I swapped it out at 49k miles. I have Ford ESP for 4yr/150k miles but chose a $200 deductible and the cost of the custom base and used rotary shifter was $160. I didn't want to have another one of the same shifters installed as I've seen posts by others...
Welcome to the club!
Very likely yours is also the shifter - I swapped mine out for a rotary dial 3 weeks and 3k miles ago and bada-bing no more errors!
I used a rotary shifter from a 2021 Escape Hybrid, made a post here around the beginning of page 25 -- was getting errors every day with the old shifter and while I don't have a scanner to check for DTCs, the warning light went away and hasn't returned in the 2k miles since.
I swapped out my shifter today, many thanks to @ditkafan1985 for creating the custom base and providing encouragement that even a rookie like me could carry out the change. Here are some details that others may find interesting, as when I was considering doing the swap myself I wanted all of...
As for the codes that get sent/stored on the Ford side, apparently mine has one for the shifter and also has one for the air dam... so I'm about to replace the shifter with the rotary dial in a few days, and we'll see if that makes and issue go away and if not I hope it at least narrows it down...
Several owners have had issues with the shifter, below is the thread about the conversion to rotary knob....

Some of us collect the notices like trading cards, but as long as the power stays at 100% (which mine always has) it's likely either the air dam sensor(s) or the shifter about to cause larger problems. During the middle of one of the below notices I started getting a clicking from the shifter...
