I have had to manually do the calculations. It has wanted me to stop on occasion more often than I need to. Seems better than it used to be, but I don’t assume it knows for sure. I usually do the math. For me, it’s part of the fun. I know for others it’s just stress.
OK. That’s what I have. I’ll have to see if it works as it would come in handy on a drive I have tomorrow. Was looking for the NACS prompt which I don’t have either.
UPDATE: The iOS 18.1 Beta 6 seems to have resolved it for me. I've only been in the truck for 3 short rides since the update, but I have not noticed the effect again. I'll report back if that does not continue to be the case.
Well I guess at least now I don’t feel so alone, but it remains a mystery. If anyone has any insight to the cause, toss it out. I’m dumbfounded. It seems to come back to the full speaker set after 5 minutes or so of connectivity for me…. Just weird.
Not sure if this is a truck issue or iOS issue. When connected, the sound comes thru very tinny just thru the speakers up by the window. Zero bass. After 5 minutes or so it usually connects where is it fully coming thru the sound system. This is for any audio from the phone thru Carplay...
Just curious what you see on updates. Tesla one was my last, then crickets. Know about the pause, etc... Just wondering...
