Not to necropost, but here we are, it’s almost July 2025, and we have yet to see the 2024+ pro power updates that let us leave the outlets on while the truck is off. These were features of 2024+ that Ford said would be coming to 22, 23 models via a software update. Since they have not produced...
I guess it is all in the reliability. The only network I have found consistently reliable chargers on has been Tesla. I have been driving electric for 7 years in America and have had nothing but trouble with many of the other ones, EA especially, ChargePoint, EvGo etc. many with down dispensers...
This right here! I tend to use Tesla Superchargers exclusively and subscribe to the better rate plan for long trips. I would love if I didn’t have to get my phone out and log into the Tesla app to initiate charging, but doing so saves me money. If they handled this, it would be pure charging bliss.
Sorry what was posted before was never meant to be public and is nothing you will need to use. Just have the dealership update your modules and with the latest APIM you should have the needed toggles.
You will get BC 1.4 and if they apply the latest APIM you should not have to do the Forscan part. Good luck. If they are willing to do them all, tip/pay them well. It is rare that a dealership will do this without a recall.
The latest APIM update through FDRS should enable them for you if you have a compatible vehicle. I followed this thread to enable the settings initially:

I just used FDRS to apply the new APIM update. All of my settings for WAL and BlueCruise stayed the same thankfully. Other than that, not a lot that seems different. Still cannot set a profile photo any longer. This was a regression in one of the last couple APIM updates. For that bug, if you...
It did make a big difference. Over time my reference consumption percentages got high and higher. It’s predictions were pretty spot on from that point.
Once you get the hang of the app it grows on you. That being said it is pretty buggy at times. When iOS Maps got NACS routing I decided to just...
As of a day ago I had no APIM updates. I hesitate to ask anyone to check my VIN again, but alas here I am. I don’t want to purchase the sub if I don’t have it available.
Yes. The update that adds the toggles back has only been released to EA members. It does not show up in the latest FDRS pull of modules needing update. Hopefully it will in a few weeks. Until then I enabled it in Forscan some time ago, so I am not too worried.
For the use of it, yeah it is a...
Though Ford does have an APIM update that enables these being sent to the early access folks. So far the update does not show up in FDRS for us non-EA owners so we have to wait for it. How long? Who knows. Hoping it shows up in FDRS in the next month so I can just apply it myself. The only...
If you use ABRP, grab a good OBD Bluetooth dongle like the OBDLinkCX and tie it in with your vehicle profile. This allows ABRP to dynamically figure out a bunch of things. And it figures them out and routes you very accurately. There are still bugs in the app but overall it has worked for a...
This is the way. Many of us have interacted with @rugedraw and a handful of others who have helped us to really get our moneys worth with this truck. Between FDRS and Forscan I have made my truck nearly perfect minus the bugs that Ford has to fix.
I think I have finally come to the point where I can say nothing I did could correct the intermittent choppy audio with CarPlay on mine and my wife’s iPhones.
The only thing that works is using wired CarPlay. I hate to have to do this but I think I may convert to using that.
And yes I have all...
