So what happens if you're traveling and this happens? This is nuts that they possibly can refuse service, specifically warranty service.
I understand refusing non-warranty service, heck I had to call around quite a bit to find someone to work on my 73 Ford ;)
no airbags being deployed is a very good sign and gets you very close to not being totaled. I'm going on the side of not being totaled, assuming no frame bend or battery damage, and the worse being the front motor being replaced.
Yes, but for a lot of people who just want to drive, like they do with their ICE vehicle. There is a learning curve right now that will hopefully go away in the near future where you just kind of drive and charge without any planning or thinking.
As with above, this should go away soon and...
Unfortunately it didnāt seem to do anything. It is beta, so maybe it will be fixed or maybe I need to restart some services. Iāll try and mess with it more this weekend
Iām not sure I like the exaggerated rounded corners. I think the theme should try and match a vehicle a little more. Either that or we need a massive standard for all inputs
Pics or a lie, internet rules established in 1989.
I usually do a little calculation when I power up to my normal 85%. It's often over 300, sometimes over 320 pending how my drive has been as of late. When I drive to a park nearby I'm always around 4miles/kwh. I should do that for an extended...
Iām running iOS 26 Beta and was poking around in the settings today while sitting at a stop light. I noticed now you can make the map bigger. Is this a version 26 only? Or was it available prior and I just didnāt notice?
Awesome. Apparently they're building a 200 stall superchargers at Yeehaw Junction FL. It's going to be very nice as these because somewhat of the norm like how there are mega truck stops across the major Interstates.
From my (probably bad) memory, the issue with people going flat when under 10% was from DC fast charging on a long trip. Internally there was something messed up and the calculation or what it showed you was incorrect. So if you're charging at home, there isn't an issue with going under 10%. But...
I brought mine in, no idea if they were loose or not. I guess I didnāt care enough to ask what they did, just wanted the documentation it was resolved lol
Iām on a 24 Flash, and so Iāve seen higher charge rates, but this is all good news for the 22/23 models.
I agree that this is probably for a longevity standpoint, and Iām glad for this. As Ford gets more data they should be able to dial in the charge rates.
Good info
A lot of talk about ergonomics, which is very understandable, but I canāt help to notice some very big guts working on building the truck. Maybe they could use a couple squats each day lol
@Realtruck I have a Dual Liner https://www.dualliner.com/ , which has a plastic liner on the sides, kind of wedges up under the side rail. Will the soft roll-up work with this liner? I'm worried if there is enough space for the product between the Ford rails and the DualLiner plastic that is...
