Wally World is mostly EA but they sometimes have other brands. Wally also announced earlier this year (2025) that they are installing their own brand chargers at many more Wally Worlds.
I just remembered that the thumb drive/disk that plugs in to the USB's under the screen in the center cubby need to be formatted in exFAT IIRC (check the manual for specs, it's either FAT or exFAT). I believe even if you can do "disk mode" on your iPod, Apple uses HFS or something like that, so...
When I bought my Mach-e, Tesla dropped their price 2 weeks later, then Ford followed suit and dropped the Mach-e price by over $10,000 :headbang:
I purchased my Lightning on the second to last day of the month, on the 1st of the next month. Ford did the power promise promo. Lost out on getting...
Either of the ports in the front console (the A or C) will read music on a thumb drive and use the Sync screen to control it.
The USB ports in the center console are just for charging only. They do not connect to the Sync system.
I'm pretty sure that when Ford says "USB devices", they only...
I'm a 20%-er?
Had a 2001 F350 v10 that I purchased in 2018 or so. Had a 2023 Mach-e for a year and traded that and sold the F350 for the Lightning.
Pop's had a F250 6.7 diesel that he and my Mom used to pull their 5th wheel all over the country.
Those are the only Ford's in the family that I...
Agree with everything @chriserx said except for "Edit 2". You can use a 5 volt USB when powering the Comma outside of a vehicle, you just have to accept the low voltage warning on the Comma. I have found that the Comma works best when connected to my powered USB hub on my desktop, but YMMV. Some...
If I am following correctly, you're asking if the Comma will power on if you add the coupler to a USB cord that is plugged in to a USB power source like a phone charger, not the truck?
I haven't personally tried it, I read about it in the manual, in this forum, or the Mach-e forum. My Lightning Pro doesn't have blue cruise, but my previous MME did. I have felt the brake check before, but I never took it to the full stop with the hazard lights on.
You working on your own truck and adding this feature means you alone are liable for anything that happens.
Finding someone else to do this for you and assume the liability, whether that's correct or not, is very unlikely.
No idea WHY it would happen, sounds like a ghost in the machine.
What it sounds like from your description is what BC does as the final step when it thinks you aren't paying attention. It brake checks to try and wake you up as well as the alarms and ultimately stops with your hazard lights...
I pay for it and find it useful. Paying allows it to be used over Android Auto and gets the car data through Android Auto so the OBD dongle is not necessary. The OBD is able to access a couple more parameters but nothing that changes the calculations drastically. I will still use the OBD...
You could likely do the entire 120 miles without stopping to charge if you start at 100%. I could do 120 miles easy towing my 24' flat front travel trailer if I start at 100%. That V-nose trailer should be better air resistance wise for better range than my flat front.
1.1-1.2 miles/kWh towing...
Check your 12 volt and have a load test done, available usually for free at any auto parts store if you don't have the equipment.
Try a reboot - disconnect your 12 volt negative cable for 30 minutes and re-connect.
An update on this random honk/lock/no WAL thing.... This hasn't happened since the late November triple OTA update spree. Fingers crossed, but it seems that something changed for the better with those OTA's.
