Something interesting I notice sometimes when charging to 100% is sometimes it legit seems like the truck decided to use the extra 7kwh of reserve battery. It then takes like 15 miles of driving before the battery percentage goes to 99%, and I believe the efficiency shows a higher than usual...

I have this and it fits well on top of the backseats and on top totes in the legroom area. Even better if you take out the rear cupholders
I don't, so far no issues (knock on wood.)
Though running a wire from the bed to the frunk is tempting for all sorts of things tbh. Haven't gotten to it though cause it sounds somewhat inconvenient.

Mods locked the post cause one guy didn't like it? (his posts are now deleted) It was weird cause a lot of people were interested.
Later post when the new batteries/inverter came...
I have ~7kwh of batteries in the bed, solar panels on my tonneau cover, and a cheap 240v 6000W inverter off aliexpress (the inverter was about $200)
It works great and I can recharge the truck quickly if I need to.
The goal isn't to convince BEV users, it's to convince current gasoline drivers. Anecdotally but in person people seem to like the idea of hybrids and range anxiety with EVs is very common.
Personally if they put a decent amount of batteries in it so that it can go 100-150 miles on pure...
I was planning on using my lightning till I can't anymore, just really hope nothing sudden happens to it and it's hard to get another.. glad I'll have the best frunk in any EV, if worse comes to shove I guess there's always the Silverado/Sierra EV...
It does not tell you "nothing", hyperbolic much?
I will continue to use it on my 24 with my Android auto integration to make sure it arrives at the charger preconditioned. So far since that update I've had great speeds each time I navigated to a charger whereas before the update it was really...
Okay, misunderstood the intent of the question then. I care more to know that it will be preconditioned when I get there, not when it actually starts to "precondition"
Umm yes? If you're using Android auto with percentage, and see the charging icon, that's a good indicator it will be preconditioning. If you perhaps accidentally set it to the parking lot or the Walmart instead of the EA, you won't see the charge stop icon and hence it won't precondition...
Got this too. I had signed up for a month in September and it expired recently, so that's nice. It was close to worthless on my road trip but at least it works 95% of the time on my commute
I have powerwalls and in less than a decade they'll pay for themselves thanks to exporting during peak hours and 1:1 net metering.
I love the idea of your vehicle making you passive money as well while parked. How cool is that. Hopefully it becomes more mainstream.
