It was a really bad experience for me. I don't blame you for being paranoid at all. If it makes you feel better, there were not that many of us that got bricked. I wonder if they just reverted me to an older update. I have to check.

Not sure what update this was. I had my truck set to auto update so I didn't get a chance to see what it was. The "Update not successful" message on the screen did not mention what version of the update failed either.
🤣 yeah, scary to think that an update could literally brick your vehicle. I was hoping that the system would just revert to the older software version if the new update would fail.
