I read somewhere back when the lightning first came out, that Ford estimated building 20K/yr, but was surprised by initial demand, so tooled up for 200K. But then Ford and dealers got greedy jacking up the price, and then dealers started working against selling them for many reasons. So yo get...
I disagree, as the BMS counts the added energy through charging, and energy usage while driving. Colombs can be measured without SOH. The BMS also gets a reference from the charger or EVSE. You can't get to SOH without knowing how much energy is there.
Neither of us knows for sure how Ford...
Which I stated multiple times that it is based on BMS calibration, meaning accuracy, and that all of these are at the mercy of the BMS. But contained energy is a fundamental that the other values outside of other fundamentals such as voltage and voltage variation, are calculated from, and is...
Of course not. Did not claim it to be full proof. I stated it relied on the BMS being calibrated, meaning accurate based on voltage. Also said all OBD readings relie on the BMS being correct, and that temp seriously affects these numbers. But it is a fundamental value to calculate many other...
Allthe.values relie on BMS calibration, and all interdependent. Others in other threads have reported having 99+% BMS reported BMS while having battery cell/module problems requiring replacement. So I don't trust that much. The BMS MUST know the amount of energy stored to calculate percentage...
When you charge to 100% the next time, use your OBD scanner and check these numbers. Also the battery needs to be idle and warm but not hot. From the scanner software find the "actual SOC and not displayed AOC. It should say around 95%. Next find your actual kw in the battery. Divide the...
Keep in mind all these reported numbers are what is reported by the BMS, and the BMS has been known to be subject to "sway" and therefore lose accuracy. I personally charge to 100% (when the trucks stops the charging) level 2 in warm weather so the BMS can recalibrate.
The last time I did this...
I bought the rubber sleeve that fits around the charging port. Figured I would use it when snow or freezing rain is expected to make removing the plug easier.
Return the Amazon adapter, grovel with the wife explaining that she is wonderful for thinking of such a great gift ideal, but not knowing she bought a unsafe cheap knockoff. Then go get the A2Z combo. I use the home version for our Tesla home charging setup, and the Typhoon at fast chargers...
Permit applications have been spotted for many states. Az, Fl, Wa, Ok come to mind immediately.
Construction has also been spotted in AZ.
It takes time to get through permitting.
You posted "1 taillight housing" meaning each taillight. Hence it's not 5K for q taillight, and it's $4100 a pair. In March was $2050 on the ized invoice the insurance paid.
Agree with the sentiment, but the numbers are significantly different.
