  1. Big Red is leveled + Bilstein 6112’s

I had Desert Rat do them for me. There may have been one level up on the Bilsteinā€™s, but more off road application. Hopefully itā€™ll help for you too, good luck!
  2. Big Red is leveled + Bilstein 6112’s

Yup. Iā€™m not sure if it was just my truck, but I felt like the dispersion of vibrations was just directly being sent into the cab of the truck and into my seat. Iā€™ve got a 22 raptor on 37ā€™s that is more comfortable than the lightning was when I got it in December. I put the Bilsteinā€™s on...
  3. Big Red is leveled + Bilstein 6112’s

Oh yeah, that included everything, control arms and the 3ā€ inch level.
  4. Big Red is leveled + Bilstein 6112’s

Bought my platinum lightning in December and just could not get used to the rake. Being a Raptor and Cybertruck owner I didnā€™t enjoy the look or the ride quality either. Really surprised thereā€™s not more posts on ride quality, but my Lightning left much to be desired. Now, it rides so much...
  5. 2023 Lightning XLT SR leveled with 17 inch Fuel Zephyr and 285/70/17 KO3

Thatā€™s super helpful. Thank you! Iā€™ve got the deployable side boards. After seeing it at a side, Iā€™m not sure Iā€™ll like the wheels on mine as much as I do on yours. The side step really connects the wheels giving it that tough look. Really great, thanks for taking the time to share!
  6. 2023 Lightning XLT SR leveled with 17 inch Fuel Zephyr and 285/70/17 KO3

Iā€™ve got a 3 inch level coming in a week or so. These might be the wheels. They look great! Would you mind uploading a photo directly from the side too, not at an angle? šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ˜„
  7. Another Lowered Lightning

Nice! I do like the look. Iā€™m going the other direction, however. About to put a 3 inch leveling kit on my Lightning. I need to find someone to sell me a 2021 or newer F-150 Raptor wheel set to make the look complete. I believe the Platinumā€™s got 24ā€™s. I may just sell those if I can find the...
  8. Anyone move from a Tesla Model X to a Lightning? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

The X is more comfortable and less cumbersome to drive.
  9. Anyone move from a Tesla Model X to a Lightning? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I have 3 Teslaā€™s, one of which my wifeā€™s 2020 X, and a 24ā€™ Platinum Lightning for 2 months. Infotainment hasnā€™t bothered me a bit. You only have YouTube however, if that matters to you. I would say the X is more efficient, maybe 5-10% better if I had to guess.
  10. GM Is Making A Big Bet On Super Cruise. It Seems To Be Paying Off

Worth trying the monthly trial at least since you have the option. Iā€™m fine with the hardware as it came with. Hard to think it could get much better. The 2020 is as good as my 2024 AWD CT w FSD.
  11. GM Is Making A Big Bet On Super Cruise. It Seems To Be Paying Off

Latest FSD updates are absolutely proof that weā€™ve arrived in the promise land. Early adopters know how good it is now. Even my wifeā€™s 2020 Model X is insanely great on FSD.
  12. GM Is Making A Big Bet On Super Cruise. It Seems To Be Paying Off

Teslaā€™s autopilot includes auto steer and itā€™s free.
  13. GM Is Making A Big Bet On Super Cruise. It Seems To Be Paying Off

If you compare Teslaā€™s auto pilot (included w every Tesla - free), itā€™s essentially what Blue Cruise is. As a consumer I couldnā€™t see paying for a system that doesnā€™t work for in town driving, ie. stopping at lights, navigating streets, etc, like FSD does. Once my 90 day trials runs out, I will...
  14. Bilstein 6112 Leveling Kit Installed - Specs, Impressions & Photos

I just had the 6112ā€™s installed. Not sure which drivetrain, but the Bilsteinā€™s run a little nicer up front now. It didnā€™t quite level me, but itā€™s less rake for sure.
  15. Won’t charge up to 300+ miles

Itā€™s simpler in my mind if the mfg gives me best case based on epa ratings. Yes, we have the energy app on Tesla to give us some useful data, but the nav is likely the best way to go for sure as far as range to a destination. I donā€™t want a mfg to give me an est. range at purchase and then see...
  16. Won’t charge up to 300+ miles

None of that changes my mind. Lie to me, fine, let me see if I can hit the best case. I want to be in control of that not the other way around. I believe Teslaā€™s way, just like the charge cable, will get adopted by the rest sooner or later.
  17. Won’t charge up to 300+ miles

I donā€™t even think about it if itā€™s in town daily driving. If itā€™s out of town driving and charging is necessary, I navigate and it shows me within 1-2% of what my arrival SOC is. Which leaves ME to adjust my driving based on what Iā€™m loosing per mile/kWh or not.
  18. Won’t charge up to 300+ miles

Iā€™ve owned my Cybertruck for 8 months and it has 4500 miles, itā€™s 27 degrees outside. My range at 85% is 270. 317 at 100. My extended range, 4 week old, 270 mile Lightning is sitting at 71% w 169 estimated range. 238 total. I sure know which of them I like looking at more than the other.
  19. Won’t charge up to 300+ miles

Teslaā€™s range calculations donā€™t rob you of the needed knowledge for best case, but calculate predicted with the navigation (incl. temp & wind). The way Ford, Audi, Porsche, Volvo is doing it confuses everything to me. If you live in 5 degree temps and have a 300 mile range vehicle, but it shows...
  20. Won’t charge up to 300+ miles

I appreciate that Ford has someone monitoring the owners forum. Iā€™ve told them recently that they need to calculate range on best case and let the present drive affect estimated range remaining. Calculating cumulative driving habits applied to todayā€™s range estimate just creates unnecessary...
