I had Desert Rat do them for me. There may have been one level up on the Bilsteinās, but more off road application.
Hopefully itāll help for you too, good luck!
Yup. Iām not sure if it was just my truck, but I felt like the dispersion of vibrations was just directly being sent into the cab of the truck and into my seat. Iāve got a 22 raptor on 37ās that is more comfortable than the lightning was when I got it in December.
I put the Bilsteinās on...
Bought my platinum lightning in December and just could not get used to the rake. Being a Raptor and Cybertruck owner I didnāt enjoy the look or the ride quality either. Really surprised thereās not more posts on ride quality, but my Lightning left much to be desired. Now, it rides so much...
Thatās super helpful. Thank you! Iāve got the deployable side boards. After seeing it at a side, Iām not sure Iāll like the wheels on mine as much as I do on yours. The side step really connects the wheels giving it that tough look. Really great, thanks for taking the time to share!
Iāve got a 3 inch level coming in a week or so. These might be the wheels. They look great! Would you mind uploading a photo directly from the side too, not at an angle? šš¼š
Nice! I do like the look.
Iām going the other direction, however. About to put a 3 inch leveling kit on my Lightning.
I need to find someone to sell me a 2021 or newer F-150 Raptor wheel set to make the look complete.
I believe the Platinumās got 24ās. I may just sell those if I can find the...
I have 3 Teslaās, one of which my wifeās 2020 X, and a 24ā Platinum Lightning for 2 months. Infotainment hasnāt bothered me a bit. You only have YouTube however, if that matters to you. I would say the X is more efficient, maybe 5-10% better if I had to guess.
Worth trying the monthly trial at least since you have the option. Iām fine with the hardware as it came with. Hard to think it could get much better. The 2020 is as good as my 2024 AWD CT w FSD.
Latest FSD updates are absolutely proof that weāve arrived in the promise land. Early adopters know how good it is now. Even my wifeās 2020 Model X is insanely great on FSD.
If you compare Teslaās auto pilot (included w every Tesla - free), itās essentially what Blue Cruise is. As a consumer I couldnāt see paying for a system that doesnāt work for in town driving, ie. stopping at lights, navigating streets, etc, like FSD does. Once my 90 day trials runs out, I will...
I just had the 6112ās installed. Not sure which drivetrain, but the Bilsteinās run a little nicer up front now. It didnāt quite level me, but itās less rake for sure.
Itās simpler in my mind if the mfg gives me best case based on epa ratings. Yes, we have the energy app on Tesla to give us some useful data, but the nav is likely the best way to go for sure as far as range to a destination.
I donāt want a mfg to give me an est. range at purchase and then see...
None of that changes my mind.
Lie to me, fine, let me see if I can hit the best case. I want to be in control of that not the other way around.
I believe Teslaās way, just like the charge cable, will get adopted by the rest sooner or later.
I donāt even think about it if itās in town daily driving.
If itās out of town driving and charging is necessary, I navigate and it shows me within 1-2% of what my arrival SOC is.
Which leaves ME to adjust my driving based on what Iām loosing per mile/kWh or not.
Iāve owned my Cybertruck for 8 months and it has 4500 miles, itās 27 degrees outside. My range at 85% is 270. 317 at 100.
My extended range, 4 week old, 270 mile Lightning is sitting at 71% w 169 estimated range. 238 total.
I sure know which of them I like looking at more than the other.
Teslaās range calculations donāt rob you of the needed knowledge for best case, but calculate predicted with the navigation (incl. temp & wind). The way Ford, Audi, Porsche, Volvo is doing it confuses everything to me. If you live in 5 degree temps and have a 300 mile range vehicle, but it shows...
I appreciate that Ford has someone monitoring the owners forum. Iāve told them recently that they need to calculate range on best case and let the present drive affect estimated range remaining. Calculating cumulative driving habits applied to todayās range estimate just creates unnecessary...
