Unfortunately I think you are stuck eating the cost. I learned this lesson on a previous vehicle years ago. To date, I only buy known vehicles, all high tech ones I lease. I also have an old extra vehicle sitting at the property that i can drive if one of our other new vehicles gets caught in...
Round abouts are cheap. A standard traffic signal for an intersection runs $400k-$600k plus ongoing maintenance. I'm dealing with a push to lower taxes, which lowers my revenue, I am trending toward installing round abouts as a cheaper alternative.
Leased a 24' Flash, 36 month, for low $300s. The end of lease buyout is way high. So If they extended my lease at a discounted price, I would consider it. Hell, I may even go out and lease an EREV too. They I would have best of both worlds.
I live in Iowa. last night we had the super cold freeze come through. Truck went on the charger at midnight (outside) and when I left for work at 8:00, it was only 74% charged. Yes, it was -10 degrees. I was at 30%.
I'm just saying had I needed to commute a longer distance, this would of...
I don't use half the "advanced" features int he truck. Most are annoying and I turned them off. Now, if Ford offered a good lease extension, I would consider that. Got 2 years before i have to worry about that. Will keep monitoring this forum.
Just research. We know the cab and a lot of the interior is shared. Front suspension odds and ends some components are shared. Rear suspension is unique. Exterior body and chassis rails have been modified. Powertrain is unique. So this means a majority of major stuff is not interchangeable...
Mine does it all the time. Annoying. It clears up and then doesn't happen for a while. Mostly in wintertime, so I'm guessing salt, ice, grime, snow, etc.
Its a gamble. The Lightning is a low production vehicle and they only keep a % of parts available for 10 years. How many videos have you seen online regarding older vehicles where the mechanic says the parts are not available anywhere!! And this was on normal production vehicles. I would...
The cost is the cost. There are no efficiencies in local chargers being put in by gas stations unless its a branded corporate effort (Shell, Chevron). ChargePoint and the others have locked up Walmarts and Targets. Tesla has the most efficiencies locked up, as it their own projects. Most...
Rates differ regionally in the US and depending on what utility serves the area. The costs you pay is directly related to the tariff the utility charges the customer, who then passes it on to you. Also, there might be 3 charging entities between the utility and you (utility cost, customer cost...
