Oh man. I've been through a lot - 1995 Geo Prizm, 1998 Mazda 626, 2005 VW Jetta, 2009 VW Passat, 2011 Ford F150, 2013 Ford F150, 2015 BMW 528i, 2018 Ford F150, 2021 BMW X5. After this, I dived into the world of EVs...without even test driving one. My EV history: 2023 Tesla Model Y, 2022 Tesla...
Just got truck back. My suspicions were correct. The botched automatic update was responsible. Dealership performed updates on SOBDM, SOBDMC and PCM modules, which resolved issues. Tested out at Tesla Supercharger and worked just fine.

I tried the usual quick fix of disconnecting the 12V battery, but the message...
Just to close the loop on this one - sold my X and got a Lightning Platinum. Love the Lightning, but the software is terrible; that's the only thing I miss coming from a Model X. I may go back to a Model X in a few years when my wife lets me switch.
Wow. What a sorry response from the dealer. Were you able to take it to another dealer to get it resolved? Tagged Ford on here but no response, so that's not a good sign.
Thanks. I already checked the jack assembly, but will try cleaning the moon roof. If I had the option to get a Platinum without the moon roof, I'd have been all for it.
