I rescheduled my appointment for 4/23. Multiple dealers have told me they don't have the software yet to complete this recall. My service writer said to check in with them a day before to verify they have it or I'll need to reschedule again.
In all seriousness, I'm glad they believe they have a solution. Intermittent electrical or software problems are hard to solve when they aren't easily reproduceable.
I think you'll probably be ok. But at the end of the day, it's all about payload and nothing else.

I just called another dealer in my area and they are saying they were notified to not expect the software until July. I've reached out to another dealer in my area and they said they didn't know. They were going to check and call me back.
yessir. When it is 90 degrees with 90% humidity on Christmas and you're a personal vinegar factory, your vehicles need tint like your body needs water.
I did 70% on the windshield, rear doors, and back glass. Then 20% on the two front doors. I'm glad I didn't go any darker and really unnecessary since I got XPEL ceramic. I can tell you that it has made a huge difference in the hot hell of FL compared to our vehicles without full ceramic tint...
I will say it was pretty easy. I was expecting to have to root or connect the phone to the laptop. Nope, just click on the link posted by Kennelh above and it just worked. Pretty painless. I think I spent more time adjusting settings than the install process.
I couldn't get a hold of anyone with knowledge at the dealer and since no one has posted an update here that FDRS has the updated software, I rescheduled my appt for late next week.
