"This is tapped after the amp just before the stock sub connector. From what I can see he tapped both positives from the LC to the Positive on the stock sub, Both negatives on LC to negative on stock sub."

This is what I did for mine except I didn't need the LC2i bc my amp has that...
I purchased the same one you had advised earlier the link.
I had to download and install this update from SD card.

Just and update from my experience. I ended up having to get the supplier to send me an update a couple times but now finally working.
Have you by chance found any way to get the full screen to display instead of 2/3rds?
Did you have any trouble having this connect?
For me after connecting and accepting the device, Carplay shows connected but then disconnects. If you wait about 20 seconds it connects and then disconnects again.
Any suggestions?
Ok thanks, I will probably give this a go, see what kind of results.
Now does anyone have wiring schematic for this, assuming I could just tap into it for High Speaker Inputs and Amp Remote?
Please tell me if I'm crazy and going to waste my time? What if I were to remove that speaker behind the rear seat and replace with LC2i and one of these powered sub options?
