I was impressed at its ability! I mean I'm not the fan of tesla that I was during the 20teens and early 2020s, but that truck, while ugly, is certainly capable.
I've seen a couple or more people here that use it. Brandon Flash YT channel has a review of it. I'm sure is as good as most other vehicles. I can wait for the delivery, I just gotta save the cash for a bit to spend.
The airbag comes out of the glovebox? I don't think so. People store stuff in there, and an airbag blowing thru all that is certainly a hazard. Airbags usually pop out the top of the dash, not thru the glovebox.
Is the comma.ai system lots better than BC? I'd imagine as it evolves it would improve faster than BC. I am certainly getting closer to purchasing that for the one time fee. My BC trial ended and while I use the lane keep and adaptive cruise, I don't use it enough. BC was easier to use all the time.
If you use Waze, you just may find Mr T available. They have tons of installable voices! As for AA, Gemini voices, I had been so used to Orbit as my gemini assistant voice, but sometimes it uses the old Google assistant voices. It's confusing!
YES! I hate that! I'd prefer it to just stay in what ever mode I select until I change it, but when I hit "yes" and it reverts back to normal, I want to punch something!
Thanks! I thought there was a door keypad option too. I figured the frunk from the keypad! Weird how it's app, or keypad, or key fob, but no consistency!
Cycled the gate. Clicked the button, started to open, at last couple inches, it just dropped. Had to manually close, button didn't work. Since then all is back to normal.
So it's just a known glitch? No fixes or anything else? Like I said it happened before, and as I recall, just fixed itself. I'm gonna go move the truck, open the tailgate, close the tailgate, and see if the light is off. I have had several of the other weird things like go to close it and it...
Was there ever a way to control the windows from the app? I think there is a door keypad combination for them, and maybe a key fob remote clicker combination that opens/closes windows. I think it's only the front windows that are "connected".
I recently had my truck in for 10k service (park module recall and had them do tire rotation, they knew enough that I didn't need an oil change). When I got in the truck after getting it back the telltale in the picture was and still is on. Seems to be a tailgate. I think this happened once...
