Interesting, where did you get your advanced IPMA? In any case, my parts came in last night so need to to a quick trip to the dealer (2hr round trip) this morning to get them and hopefully install this today. Then I can see if I have similar issues. A buddy of mine just got an XLT with ACC so...
@jordandev That wire harness also includes the front ultrasonic parking sensors present on XLTs with assist 2.0. I believe the part without those was -MA but check with your dealer. I went with the harness that has the wiring in case I add those later (there's another thread on that)...
That doesn't sound right. Working with the forums and my dealer we identified
wire: ML3Z-15K867-NA
CCM: ML3Z-9E731-B which should be the whole assembly.
DIdn't order the switch. Gonna go without and deal with that later. Should be ML3T-9E740-D though.
At least that is what I discovered...
It also asked me for both cables. Had to abort and retry a few times until I realized that those USB hub with ethernet ports don't work on the truck side. Needs to just be ethernet and nothing else.
@Jesse-Infotainment with all the as-built and hardware changes do you have OTA auto updating disabled so it doesn't mess with forscan changes like we've seen with APIM and IPC updates before? Or is Ford so confused by your truck it doesn't even try to OTA?
Looking through some as built comparisons I think you also need to look at 720-09-02 first bit for "intelligent adaptive cruise" and maybe the second to last of 720-09-01 for "speed limit information function" Those were different between my 21XLT and others that have assist 2.0
I've got my...
There's a specific issue with 1.7.1 that caused some form of error where the APIM would no longer update. Some unknown set of circumstances would get it out of that loop hence the "wait a month". TSB 22-2117 solves this issue by re-flashing part of the APIM. Sometimes sitting it overnight...
I also have the side card working. 302A XLT with 360 cams. My forscan changes were. Your truck may be different and your mileage may vary. Take these with a grain of salt.

If you have a Job 1 truck, have them take a look at TSB 21-2097. I had the deep sleep battery drain. That TSB fix is a gateway module reprogram and checking to make sure the doors align.
TSB 21-2117 to fix the updates isn't too hard but the dealer has to have some USB adapters that probably...
TSB 21-2117 tells them how to fix this issue. I have done it myself successfully but I manually updated the software after the TSB in FDRS rather than wait and see what OTA would do.
No I used FDRS. Shut the truck down, walked away for a few hours, started a new FDRS session, then ran self tests on the modules giving me the U3000 (happened on IPC and GWM for me). After one or two self tests the codes all cleared. I also had the immediate engine off on my last GWM update...
I suspect you may not have actually installed the drivers even though you thought you did. The "driver installer" just installs a program to install the drivers into your C drive. Try going to C:\Program Files (x86\Sync Drivers Intaller\ and see what is there. I had an install.bat script that...
I have 360 cams, but no adaptive cruise. Curse the dealer for not adding that one extra option when they optioned this thing. (had to replace a totaled truck so didn't want to wait months for a custom order). So maybe lack of a CCM is the difference stopping further updates? Also, powerboost...
