I just got 10.1.1 today as well
I think I got karaoke on Thursday.
I noticed that there’s no update now button anymore. When did they take that away for us?
I think you explained the problem very well.
But only Ford can explain why when they unveiled the latest generation. F150, they promised robust over the air updates that not only improved performance, but added new features.
I remember watching the reveal of the 2021 F150. They made it a big...
Just wanted to add my personal experiences to the mix on whether or not this update was worth it.
I went through some trouble in the dealer had to keep my truck overnight because of issues they had.
But today I commuted to work, I have a very limited section of highway that I get to use blue...
I thought the 2024 F150 lightnings came from the factory with software 10.0 or something like that.
Shouldn’t this update? Also be bringing us all of the 2024 features then? Stuff that we were missing like charging information showing on the dash screen while the car is plugged in?
So far I’ve driven it home and it’s charging okay. 360 cam is good and camera still engages when close to something.
hard to believe a bum laptop can cause those HV battery warnings and everything. Scary.
So far a happy ending on my truck.
I picked my truck up today. They got all of the updates done.
They said the issue was with the laptop they were using and when they tried a second laptop, everything went through fine.
Well, an update to my situation as I was able to pick up my truck the next day.
They’ve got all of the C SP’s performed. They said the issue was with the laptop they were using and not my truck and once they switched laptops everything went fine.
First one today came was pro power needs serviced or something like that
Second one during their test drive after the failed install was a HV battery malfunction warning
never had any issues for nearly 15,000 miles until today and the failed update
I went to the dealer tonight to pick up my loaner.
my truck still opens, frunk works, etc.
It’s not like completely dead.
is there a chance getting high voltage, battery warnings, etc. could happen just because the 12 V battery is low?
allegedly they were not able to install any update so...
I had a 2021 F150 with the 3.5 eco boost. Had near 80,000 miles and lifetime MPG was 20
Looks like at $3.00 a gallon that would be over 10k at 3.50 it's over 12,000.
I'm afraid my dealer has no clue. I'm in a small town and they don't get many electric vehicles.
How long should I give them to fix whatever they've done before calling the Ford BEV team? Do you have some good contact information for them?
I'm getting high voltage battery warnings now. Did...
I’ve gotten two alerts in the app today.
pro power system error and now a high voltage battery error.
never had errors like this before.
how can it hurt the truck that badly to install a freaking update on one module?
They broke my truck!!! I was so nervous about having this done. UGH.
2023 ER Lariat that was built in December 2023 that has been flawless for 14,000 miles.
They took it for a test-drive after the 3 failed updates and now the truck is flashing "pull over" messages to the driver and they have...

I completely agree. Getting better at software wouldn't just mike the owners lives better, it would save the company a ton of money and time. This is ridiculously difficult.
