Man this sucks. Got this done on March 28th, and NO CHANGE.
In fact it is now even worse becuase i am gettnig a black screen suddenly while driving which NEVER happened before. Wonderful.
I am blown away that you are seeing 109V and 104V's. I have a 13.5KW AC with a microair and i was not able to get the AC to start. I couldnt even get a hair dryer to turn on at low power.
TO top it off, it added more weight dropping my payload (extra batteries, extra alternator) and it has...
I have a dealer asking me to put my order in for the Lightning, but i am seriously nto beleiving this thing can tow my 7000lb trailer more than 100miles.. sigh.
I really want to go electric,!
I think it was a combination of cold weather, full passengers and trunk, and driving at around average 120km/h. Defintiely not as comfortable as just fueling up in my F150 and easily exceeding the range of my Model S on 1 tank (vs 80% battery).
I decided the my tesla, is good for getting...
I watched this video. I am not surprised. I decided to take a long trip with our Model S with my family of 5 (normally the trip car ist he F150). Drove from toronto to sudbury and the temperatures were in the -15 Ceslius.
Let me put it this way, youtube makes it seem SO seamless to drive an...
Wait, are you saying Pro Power can default to off?? FOr a year i have suffered wtih that stupid fan noise it makes when i NEVER use propower which is mega annoying!
Thanks all for the feedback. It appears it is from the road noise and low frequency rumble. After driving my Model S around (which also has noise cancellation), i am gettting the same thing and this is from an electric car.
It sucks but nothing i can do.
Towing a 30' Jayco (full load 7000lbs) on my 21 Lariat 502.
With the family, bouncing of the payload limit but it is doable. No white knuckle driving though, but feel like i need more truck
What is the updates do? Mine is jammed up too, but frankly dont care anymore since my lease is only 2 years (goes back July 2023)...
One thing thats awesome about my TEsla is software updates are so frequent, its like a new car every few weeks.
Bad news is that the car is filled with bugs...
There is none which is why this is a massive problem.
In my truck there was NO inidicaiton the trailer brakes were not working. I ended up going downhill and not realizing that they were nto working making my breaking distances excessively long.
To top it off, i always test the trailer brakes...
Cant believe there is no fix for this yet.. Really hope this gets fixed by the new RV season (Aprilish?)
What does it take for someone at ford to get this fixed? A few RV accidents?
Well my truck is on a 2 year lease and it was my first doorway to RV'ing. But i do ahve deposit on the lightning and the cybertruck. HOpefully the payload will be greater!!
I did not like driving 8MPG!!
In the same boat as you. I preordered the lightning anyways, but i also ahve a preordered a cybertruck as well. The cyber truck has much better stats (500-600mile range), tesla supercharger network, and priced the same as the lightning (much more power on teh tri motor)...
So that woudl...
Very confused, i have 275/60/20's on my Max Tow Lariat. I see that for 18" most places are selling the size 275/65/18 as part of the winter tire package. However the better match for my factory size is 275/70/18's.
What is everyone running for winters?
