It’s crazy because we were on a paved country road nobody else around and then heard this loud BOOM! It must be an impact of some sort based in what everyone is saying but man, I can’t figure out what hit us!
Stupid question, but what am I looking for? Should I just unconnect/reconnect them? Line-X may have removed and reseated the assembly when they sprayed the bedliner.
Tried using the fancy bed outlets for the first time. But when I turn them on (with nothing plugged in) I'm getting an error-- "The maximum capacity of the bed outlets was exceeded. Try unplugging one or more items and reset."
I've tried resetting and turning the truck on/off again. The manual...
This is $450 on amazon right now--

"enjoy 2500 starting watts, 1850 running watts and up to 11.5 hours run time on gasoline, and 1665 running watts and up to 34 hours on propane"
1665watts/hr of charge with careful driving 2.5 kwh/mi would get you 4...
The math checks out if you shut off the house breaker while you charge the truck.
Does this panel not provide HVAC? Because it looks like that calculated 108.83 amp load excludes HVAC.
Two problems make this a resource-intensive experiment --
1. If there was a big difference, we'd already know about it. I think it's safe to assume we're talking about a small difference.
2. There are a lot of variables, and I mean a lot, that affect mileage in bigger ways than a Tonneau...
I thought the FCSP only gets to 80 amp continuous load-- so wouldn't 100amp already be 125%?
Wow who designed this thing. I'll probably copy your aluminum to disconnect, copper to FCSP idea.
Very cool if this catches on widescale and power companies can use EV batteries as an additional source of batteries for times they have excess renewable energy. But why is this only for leased vehicles?
Nice sleuthing. Since it's a small bump, it could be wind effect. Lead car breaks the wind, chase car drives through less resistance. Or the lariat rounded up to 30 from 28 (28 would be 2.26). Or the ER has the same reserve kwh as the SR, which means less proportion of the 131kwh is held in...
I see a Toyota dealer and a few hotels near me on the Blue Oval network. Does Ford have some sort of partnership with those places where you can just show up with your Lightning and start charging? Or are they just scraping everything they see on Plugshare and putting it in their network?
Do...
If it's not something you notice and it's not something broken that Ford/others are making a big thing about, I'd hold off. With 100+ modules in these things I don't think anyone can fully test changes-- a small fix somewhere might break some other module unexpectedly.
To whoever wants to...
