If you’re plugging into the front port in the front console under the radio, it’s for media connection and will give that warning when any charging device is plugged in.
My radio only sounds good through Carplay with lossless or Hi-res lossless audio, Sirius was so bad that I let the trial subscription expire, regular FM radio sounds better than that!
I did play "24K Magic by Bruno Mars" this morning in my truck, turned up to 25, and it sounded amazing! Really depends on the music source and quality, but I would say I'm impressed as well.
The system has been going through some updates lately, some days it's all there, some it's blank like yours and wants to be reactivated. I don't actually reactivate, it will just correct itself once they are done doing "whatever" they are doing on their side.
If it's an iPhone, go to your bluetooth, click the i next to the ford connection, then there should be a setting to share notifications you need to enable there. Did it yesterday since I turned off CarPlay (not a fan of it)
Mine would not connect yesterday (7/25) all day, until that afternoon, now it's fine. I had some issues with the same thing with my Ranger, wouldn't work randomly for a day or so, then all good. They sent me some ford points for the inconvenience, yay.
Coming from a Ranger Lariat with B&O and getting the F-150 with B&O Unleashed, I'm really impressed with it so far. It "does" put a bit more sound out of the front center channel than I'd like, but that's just me being picky.
