All vehicle sales vary by region. I'd wager that the Chevy dealer in that same town in SC is selling a lot fewer Corvettes than a dealer in LA. That doesn't indicate that nobody wants to buy Corvettes.
Might be time to revive this thread again now that cybertruck shipments seem imminent.
Anyone cancel their order because "I'll get my cybertruck any day now"?
Nobody knows. Ford probably doesn't even know yet.
Back to the topic at hand. It's shocking just how expensive it has gotten to repair vehicles. And also it seems that with some vehicles, a very small amount of damage to the battery enclosure requires replacement of the entire battery pack...
I'd imagine they are going to total that. There's certainly suspension damage and possibly motor or frame damage.
Additionally, I don't think any insurance company will even attempt to repair that top corner of the cab if there's any damage to the structure of the cab at all.
Glad glad you...
GM delivered 18 Silverado EVs in September, their first month of deliveries. Will Tesla beat that number? Only if they have been stockpiling built ones for a couple months.
I predict the launch model will top $100k and as demand from the die hard Tesla fans does out we will see the lower tier...
My guess is you'll have to put in a pro order when they open up and then hope you get it with lfp. Or wait till after they start making the lfp trucks and hope you can still order a pro.
Tldr; nobody knows.
Ya I wish they had made blue cruise available on XLT low trim. You can option it onto any XLT ice configuration, and it is on all Mach-e. Why not have it on all XLT and above lightning?
Exactly what I have been thinking. I saw that the ice XLT can get blue cruise for 24 and was hopeful they would make it available for the base XLT lightning. Seems like I'm out of luck.
Tesla lost money for years and look where they are now. As long as there are investors willing to keep the money flowing, hopefully Rivian will be successful.
