Are you still using EVGO? or our you charging at Flying J and paying them there?
I do love everything about Flying J (many locations and great chargers) except their cost.
Thanks Greg. Sorry, been busy with real life for awhile and away from the Forum selling all my worldly possessions. Now on the road full time in my Lightning being an EV Gypsy.
So, I wondered about this since I thought it was to be automatic shipping to all owners and I might be one of the first having my '22 for almost 2 years.
But, No. I just went to the Ford website and a pop up invited me to order one. Nothing was ever emailed me nor did my app ever notify me.
I...
I am on the road now and have limited access to at-home charging.
I signed up with EVGO because they say they are now affiliated with the fast expanding Pilot/Flying J Truck Stop EV Charging network. I bought the EVGO $12.99 subscription plan in order to lower my cost per KW as low as possible...
I know. We'll have Alan Rick test drive his new CyberTruck, a replacement for his late Rivian, going 0 - 60 in 3 seconds from a stop light into a Pizza Shop? Talk about a "Crash Dummy".;)
Speaking of "Software", I am not so sure the CyberTruck will do very well in the government crash testing with it's stainless steel crumple zones. Anyone want to be a "bug stain" on the inside windshield after a high speed crash?
A Tesla manager in charge of the San Diego showroom has revealed that the Cybertruck has a relatively small 123KWh battery pack. This gives credence to earlier leaks showing a Cybertruck with only a 267-mile range at full charge...
Great! And Thanks for the kind words. Pulling a trailer and boondocking with the Lightning is an experience not for the faint-hearted. Planning-Planning-Planning. I'll keep everyone here up to date on my results. Have a trailer picked out for Spring.
From another Survivor of 7-11 Week, which, as far as my Lightning is concerned, turned out to be a Lucky Number. Almost 12,500 miles and not a Bug in sight. Happy Holidays to All.
Actually, two hrs. x 2, for each time I had to charge my speedy friend. But if you are new to EVs you will find that most EV ppl are good souls (Even Tesla Lol ) if you take the time. It is a Good Community. And I still believe in Karma, even after all of this. And again Thank you everyone for...
Thank you very much. But in life you gotta acept that S*** happens. And Rainbows and Ice Cream happens. Just Move On and Accept Life as it is and Get Over It. But still have my Second Love, My Lightning.
Thought I would post a bit about our last trip from KY to TX because there were several revelations.
I have been inactive here on the Forum for the past few months because that trip turned out to be such as disaster. After driving to Memphis we found the EA Charger was completely out of...
Although I recognize @hturnerfamily as one of the best "experts" on this forum when it comes to towing experience, I want to add a few thoughts to the subject.
Plowing through an air mass creates both friction and drag and increases exponentially with wind speed and you have to factor in any...
