I'm looking at a 2020 Raptor and also interested in the future EV F-150 too so I'm very interested in hearing why you've decided to trade it in when the electric model drops. What advantages/disadvantages do you see?
I'm definitely interested in the Electric F150 but can't wait longer than another two years.
What I care most about is range and towing ability. Also price of course.
What is the point of an open grille if it doesn't provide cooling to the engine and not a vehicle that really needs it for aerodynamic reasons? Just aesthetic reasons? While it may appeal to more legacy F-150 owners and traditional truck buyers I am not sure that is who Ford is going to sell the...
Since the number of cross members containing batteries is defined by the length of the frame rails, it means longer trucks will potentially have more power and range. I wonder if Ford is already thinking of applying this to its heavy duty trucks and what this could mean for the next F-150.
Body on frame vehicles make ideal candidates for conversion to EVs so this makes perfect sense. If they want to trounce the Cybertruck they need to give the EV F150 250-300 mile range, great towing performance and a quick 0-60 time and it needs to be done at a reasonable price.
That's the cost...
