Job 1 truck, not EAP, had 2.3.0 since March ,16th. OTA's trickle in . I have had my platinum since July , 6th and I have made two 1800 miles trips down south since then. It would have been nice to have had Blue Cruise.
I just looked at the ironman compressor and you will spend more for the wire than the cost of the compressor. I would just lengthen the wire that comes with it and keep it portable. If you want to mount a compressor , head over to you tube and search out Big Truck Big Rv. Search for his episode...
Why don't you mount the compressor in the front of the bed. You will save on wire cost and the compressor will be less in the way. Yes to the fuse mounted nearest to the battery and I would stick with the 2 gauge. I worked for NAPA and we always carried this gauge, along with the connectors in...
As long as you buy your tires from a knowledgeable dealer, they will tell you what will work with your vehicle. They will also not allow you to purchase a tire that may fail because of a wrong application.
Here is the kit you need. I found this info on f150forum.com. However, your truck may not have come with it,it may have the stickers and they should be in your glovebox with the trailer backup directions. Later trucks built in July or so have the updated software to use stickers and not the yaw...
What happens to an OTA update if you are not connected to a wifi network. I am away from home for the next month and my truck is with me, but where I am staying does not have a reliable wifi network. Will the update remain active in the system until I return home or does it expire, which then...
My bed rug was one piece with a hinge joint covering the gap between the bed and tailgate. I like it and I didn't care that it covered the work surface.
I used to sell covers long ago. One thing to keep in mind is you do not want your cover to be waterproof, it needs to breath. Moisture will accumulate under the cover and will damage your paint if it is not allowed to evaporate, especially if parked in the sun. Just something to keep in mind.
Its always a good idea to try before you buy, just in case. However, when buying aftermarket its not always possible. In this case, they probably would fit.
As long as the rolling diameter of the tires you wish to mount is the same or close enough to your OEM tires, then your speedo and everything associated with it will be fine.
I have a question. I have seen multiple references to Job 1 trucks and Job 2. How do you determine which is which? My truck was built on June 23rd if I remember correctly. Thanks
Probably only thru a Ford dealer, however check the member marketplace on this website. People are selling their wheels because they changed to a better looking or different size. You will have to be patient until someone in your area posts some, it took me about 6 months before some showed up...
I went with Ford's spray in bed liner, I installed Ford's bed rug which covers the tailgate, and I installed an Access original roll up tonneau cover. I used to sell the drop in liners and never was a big fan of them. My last truck had a cap with a rubber mat, not sure if I want to spend the...
Ford does sell a similar bed mat, comparable to the bed rug. I installed on in my 21, I think it was about $220. It covers the bed and tailgate with mesh that covers the gap when the gate is down, keeps debris from falling in.
I have a platinum and I simply press the button on the steering wheel and ask the truck to place a call. I am using an I phone without apple CarPlay and 99% of the time it works, but does get confused every now and then.
