Cool. Have a ton of friends from high school who went to Clemson, so spent a decent amount of time there over the years, mostly for the Carolina Clemson game days. I'm from Greenville originally.
Warranty was one reason I had my level installed at the dealer, rather than at a small shop, but...
There may be some other threads on the coil overs. Fox is definitely up there. I just wanted to improve the stance, give myself a bit more ground clearance for offroading, and make some room for larger tires down the road.
Mine was really soft and cushy riding before this, like a 70's caddy...
I was initially told this as well, but it's not correct. There may not be an "OEM" leveling kit (as in for Original Equipment), but most of the dealers seem to default to "ReadyLift" and can install others.
Also my understanding on the coil over vs spacer/pucks is that the coil over will...
Thanks for the feedback all. I fought them on the extra charges and got them to at least meet me halfway at $200 extra rather than $400. I'm still not sure if the camera thing was legit or not. Checking out the work afterwards, I could see how the PB may be a little more time consuming to...
Having a ready lift 2" leveling kit installed by my dealer. The initially quoted me just over $900 for parts/labor. Thought that was a bit high from the start, but I digress. Dropped it off Tuesday to have the work done and have the driveshaft insulation recall done while it's there. The...
Great to see this post as I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2" readylift leveling kit and was looking for the exact same thing. I'll likely run mine with the stock wheels and tires for at least a little while and was curious to see how that looks. Down the road I'll definitely go with a more...
Did our fist towing trip with the PB a few days ago. Compared to what most of you are towing my pop up is very light at only about 1600pds dry, maybe 1750 the way we load it (05 Fleetwood Sea pine). We're probably packing 200pds of gear or so in the bed (2 large coolers and a tent canopy being...
Thanks, this is what I was thinking. I'm going to give the service manager a call, but wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I wasn't aware of. I've seen tons of leveled trucks on here, but couldn't tell if any of them were PB's.
So I spoke to my salesman about adding a leveling lift to my PB, and he was saying the service department won't do a leveling kit on the powerboost because it's a hybrid, but they do them on the other powertrains. That didn't make much since to me as the suspension is unrelated to the power...
Really depends on what your goals are. I've always preferred the simple, soft, roll up covers as my primary objective is only to have the ability to keep cargo somewhat dry.
If we you want the ability to lock and secure the bed, a hard cover may be better.
