I've wondered that too. I hope not! Otherwise I'll have to do a little trimming. After the frame gets a little rusty I just think it looks better covered up.

From the pictures I've seen they offer a lot more coverage. Frame is exposed with the ford liners. I've heard the Ford liners are a little thicker. But I think these will hold up just fine.

My dealer had the splash guards in stock but had to get the deflector shipped from the warehouse. Took a day. Hope you can have better luck with your dealer! How do you like the weather tech?

Yes, and comes with both alcohol cleaner and surface prep. The most difficult part was getting it positioned in the center. There is a row of adhesive on both the front and back edges.

Installed my hood bug deflector today and molded splash guards. Got both from my dealer parts department. Easy install for both and happy with the results. I've posted a picture that includes the item number for the deflector since there are different options.
