  1. Is there any reason NOT to get the Max Tow package?

Payload does not increase so the umph to 'carry' the load is not added, no. You'd have to get a low trim truck with a payload package to add that
  2. Is there any reason NOT to get the Max Tow package?

Short, it's reinforced and rated to pull more weight, but you're likely to be payload limited before needing that extra rating
  3. Is there any reason NOT to get the Max Tow package?

On a 5.0 truck, yes, absolutely get the Max Tow package. You are not missing anything. If you were going to get trailer tow + 3.73 + 36 gallon...just get Max Tow because it's that and more Do it. And do not get FX4 unless you really really want it for some reason, a huge part of its expense is...

  5. Do I need to run new 400 amp service in my house for the Lightning + everything else?

Biggest thing I figured, already mentioned, charge the vehicle overnight. Don't use your (electric) stove, oven, clothes dryer, curling iron, hair dryer, toaster, etc, at night while car is charging. Golden. A/C doesn't even draw that much after the compressor is going. If you want/have to...

  8. $12,500 tax credit possible?

  9. I'm all about that base , bout that base, bout that base, No Platinum

I'm pretty sure the pro with ER battery doesn't make sense, as others have pointed out, from Ford's perspective since they have excess demand and limited/finite battery to go around. Using that much of their battery allotment for what is likely a relatively low margin vehicle...not the best...

  11. $12,500 tax credit possible?

No, they aren't. I wouldn't expect someone from Kali to see bias sources for what they are, though.
  12. Reservation holders for 2022 F-150 Lightning - sign in here!

Aug 12 #11 149,1-- No idea if I'll actually buy one. But...maybe. Intentionally waited awhile so I'd be far down the list to learn more about it, and let my 2019 get less-new, before my number came up

  14. $12,500 tax credit possible?

The WSJ is about as liberal and bias as you can get REading this thread through start to finish, but just had to respond to this when I saw such a completely BS statement
