My process with them has looked somewhat different.
I started with them in late April - I had a 5/20 blend date. I asked them to quote me Solar along with the CSP installation. I decided to go with CSP installation only.
From April to May 20th, I had a lot of back and forth with my rep and...
So the dealer, Ford Chat and I had every indication that the truck was in Richmond. Now according to my dealer it's still in Richmond and Ford Chat says it's moved back to Flat Rock, MI as of 7/17
I did get a Fordpass denial on the 8th, which would roughly line up with about the time it would...
Mine is in Richmond, CA about 45 minutes from my dealer.
There is clearly no rhyme or reason to the final delivery though. My dealer told me his demo vehicle came in yesterday even though mine was at the rail yard a full week earlier.
I'm still waiting too. Mine was scheduled for delivery 6/30 with United Road assigned a truck and everything. Then the truck picked didn't pick it up along with the other cars it was supposed to travel with. Now that pickup order shows as cancelled and there is a new one that shows inactive...
Take everything that Ford chat or your Dealer tells you with a heavy dose of salt. Their systems take forever to update. They were saying my truck was in Illinois from 6/8 until 6/23 when it all of a sudden appeared in Richmond. I've been from In production, to shipped with no built...
Mine arrived in Richmond on the 22nd as well. Yesterday, I was driving through Richmond and decided to stop by the railyard out of curiosity. It was at a distance, but I saw 6-8 trucks I'm pretty sure were Lightnings.
I also saw a number of auto carrier trucks. Most of them were United Road...
After my truck slipped back to In Production on Thursday night I got the built email Saturday with an ETA of 7/29-8/4 and a shipped email early this morning.
Since the truck is at the local rail yard I’m hoping it comes this week.
@TaxmanHog. Have you ever seen the order tracker go backwards?
I have been in transit and my dealer confirmed the truck was at the local rail yard yesterday. Last night the tracker went back to in production.
Yeah, I’ve done all that on my work computer, personal computer and iPad. Still not working.
Maybe I should take it as a hint to stop trying to look.
I'm not seeing it either today. Neither the shop.ford.com or .ca vehicle trackers are working for me either across 4 different devices and clearing browsing data
.com just tells me session expired and .ca just refreshes the page.
No movement from Blue Island since 6/8. Right now it shows no railcar, but previously it showed one and that's what I've been tracking. I doubt that they move trucks between railcars and someone with access to BNSF data confirmed the car is headed to Richmond.
I think it's more likely than...
