Thinkware u1000. There's to stl's in there, one has a vertical face and a horizontal face. If your camera can see its own mount you probably want to use the horizontal one and have the mount be above the lens then rotate the lens 90 degrees.
No tape or anything, just kept in place by pressure. Slides into the space above the headliner and twists. I've only ever tested it on my truck so I have no idea if the tolerances there vary or anything.
Haven't really been selling anything. Just threw it up here to spark some ideas. I ended up making it modular somewhat like this. So the top unscrews. Can keep different sizes for the top part depending on bottle diameter.
Added it. I ended up making two, one that has a vertical face and one...
Does this do anything for the 21 Job 1 trucks? Like upgrading to have cameras while driving / Blue Cruise, or is this just a fix for people not getting any updates?
I bought mine off customwheeloffset. Unsure if they do something but I didn't have to do anything special, just mounted up and the truck detected it. I didn't give them a VIN or anything, but they did have the make and model so it's possible they programmed it before shipping.
I dunno, this is setting the precedent. It certainly will impact how I view Ford going forward. Have you seen anyone that got the camera while driving from an update and didn't have it initially? So far I've seen people leave the lot with it, but not with an update. May have missed it though.
Do we know that? Like it's been officially confirmed? All we've seen so far is everyone getting different versions, some people getting no updates, and some people that get updates and still can't use the cameras.
Oh cool, I don't have SecuriAlert either, so learning about yet another update feature that I don't have on my 70k truck. Getting fed up with this supposed over the air support.
Yup, updates are non-existent, which really defeats the purpose of over the air. If you're putting it on trucks on the lot it should be available over the air, period.
Well that's unfortunate. I'm definitely looking at electric trucks in the future and how Ford chooses to (or not to) support previous trucks with software updates is going to play a large part of my decision to stick with the brand. Just reading on this forum there's such a disparity in features...
Looking to sell the 20” Chrome wheels off my 21 Lariat. They have around 400 miles on them, replaced them with aftermarket wheels. I’m located in Southwest Virginia, PM me if interested. Have the chrome lugs that came with the truck.
Posted this in another thread, but I took the dove tail slots for the weird phone holder slots in the center console and 3d printed a holder to put a magsafe charger there. Don't have any pictures right now of the current one, I prototyped in this clear one. Ended up changing the cable to come...
