Just saw this ad and wanted to ask since I am inheriting my parent's farm in central California.
1. How does a small business (farm) take advantage of this $7500 Pro offer from Ford?
2. What is a type 7 or D commercial fleet sale ?
3. Is there any other tax credits for a business (other than...
So Calif.
Home rate is $0.61/kWh peak, $0.26/kWh off peak + transmission & delivery charges.
On the road during peak hours, it's way cheaper at Tesla ($0.32/kWh) plus I get 6% back on the card.
Nice to hear back!
Speed is amazing for efficiency.
Were there any CADOT rest stops along the way that had free EV fast chargers ?
I use the free 5 station DCFC at the CADOT rest stop off the 5 freeway in Lebec, CA.
You do know that some Tesla Superchargers are on private / HOA / commercial gate locked access areas ?
There is one SC location near my work that has locks on it for local government vehicle use only.
Another is a mall where they have restricted hours and are not 24/7.
Correct on both!
I am guilty of one charging to over 90% on DCFC.
When I was charging in Brea, CA this weekend - 4 EA chargers + 24 Tesla Superchargers sharing the same lot - a big line of non Teslas were waiting in a line for 3 out of 4 working EA chargers.
Ever since Tesla opened up for...
Yes, that makes sense!
Any official park vehicle has either the federal government plate or state of CA exempt plate.
Must have been a Yosemite worker's personal vehicle since the plates are standard commercial DMV plates issued to regular folks...
We drove to Yosemite on our summer trip 350 miles from So Calif as my wife had never visited.
I spotted an official looking Yosemite NP Lightning in Yosemite valley near Camp Curry.
1st: Lightning has California plates and tags - not the US Govt plates.
2nd: Since there were no L3 DCFC in...
Ever since Tesla SC opened access to Ford EVs, I have switched over to Tesla ( with monthly subscription) 3 months ago.
I also discontinued EVGo Plus membership 3 months ago.
Now I get an email from EVGo wanting me to charge there again.
Still can't get to an EVGo without passing by 2 or 3...
That's exactly what I do - use the Tesla app to charge.
Tesla membership pays for itself if you use it at least 2x a month.
I charger at least 6x a month.
You can even sign up for a month and then discontinue (road trip).
The only drawback is that it's not P&C - have to initiate the charge...
3 months in using A2Z and loving it more now than before.
After a first couple of times placing it on the ground and press fitting the NACS plug until a slight click was felt - now after 30+ charge, don't need to do that - slips on easily.
Definitely takes time to wear / break in!
Thanks @A2ZEV
At non Magic Dock Superchargers, only Ford & Rivian are currently the only brands that will work at V3+ Tesla Superchargers.
Once an agreement / contract is signed by other manufacturers, they will also join.
