Anybody know if Ford has acknowledged receipt of any defective adapters? I sent mine in a couple weeks back and haven’t heard anything.

Received replacement adapter and it’s identical to the original but labeled with a different part number. Return instructions for defective part are straightforward, provided carrier bag seems a bit flimsy.

Text from Fed Ex this morning, package from Dearborn, MI to be delivered today. Replacement adapter I presume.

Same here with a twist. I ordered and received an A2Z adapter before the free Ford piece #6455 was delivered. So happens that my A2Z was recalled as well but I got the upgraded replacement in a timely manner. Crickets from Ford. I realize it was a gift, however replacing faulty equipment...

I used the original short screw for my install. The long screw bottomed out before the mirror was secure.

Baytown Buc-ee’s on I-10 was the first time I’ve used the V4. I was happy to get the chance to try it out and it worked great. Hope to see more.

I used a V4 in Baytown, Tx. before and after Thanksgiving on a trip from FL to San Antonio. Worked as advertised and was able to charge without disconnecting my travel trailer. Too bad some are being vandalized.

As am I. Tried to use the original last week and got 7 minutes/17.8 kWh before it ended the session. Now my A2Z adapter has been targeted for replacement and crickets 🦗

I will ship the old upon receipt of the new, same as Ford proposes with their adapter.

I’ve had similar experience with Ford adapter getting hot and shutting down the charging session. Luckily I had the A2Z as a backup. At the time I thought the problem was the ambient temperature near 100 and no shade.
