Nothing serious but plenty of two tracks and seasonal fire roads. Had the duratracs on my last truck (2nd gen raptor) and they ate everything I threw at them, but in all honesty, were overkill for my mile long stretch of dirt road and little bit of off roading I do in northern Michigan. So far...
same objectives so I went with the 265/70r18 michelins. Within 3 revs per mile of the stock hankooks and the combo is still almost 10 lbs per corner lighter ;-)
To each his own but I like my 18s LOL And I do have the max tow.
Purchased off the lot with the sport 20s and switched them out for factory 18s. Then swapped the GY for some Michelin defenders.
Yes, it does the same thing for me. Same stretch of road - works one minute but not the next.
There's a particular 2-3 mile stretch that sometimes it works flawlessly, while other times it does not want to come on at all, yet other is cuts in and out.
One thing I noticed that I thought...
I don't think you're doing anything wrong - Ford's just still working the kinks out of the system. Welcome to the "guinea pig" club :p
That said, I think it's going to be a very cools system once they start pushing updates...
No offense, but having a bunch of people that don't even have it enabled yet chiming in and telling us what it does and doesn't do is starting to get old.
Here's what Blues Clues looks like on my truck:
And here's regular adaptive cruise with lane centering on my truck when hands-off mode...
