Sadly no  I am waiting on a lightning to become available for prototyping and it is not available yet for me to use. Due to some varied reports i've seen, I need to dig further into the truck to ensure our beta will be safe for release
Thanks a ton, I did the same as you and got the buzzer as well from Ebay. I ohm'd it out to 22 ohms though. Now I am hunting down the OEM housing, terminals and seals. Finding overseas connectors though is always the hardest. EDIT: I guess I spoke too soon, found everything I need! Hopefully...
On it! Going to try and get my hands on a lightning this month and figure something out. It should be a lot cheaper and easier to make than my existing bypass too based on what i've seen here. I'm glad it doesnt throw a dash code, but like others said it may be problematic and will certainly...
Always good to get the kids involved and glad you can enjoy the truck in peace now . Still pretty bummed that the author of that video gave zero credit to megaohm...Oh well.
Appreciate the shoutout!
What many don't realize is that FMVSS is the body that establishes these rules, which are minimum performance requirements for manufacturers, not the end user. The end user can do whatever they would like with the speaker at this moment.
I can confirm from when I made the original post that there are no codes. The truck has no way to tell if the buzzer is operating or not due to its design.
Nice! It may be possible from the underside but this just seemed the easiest way to gain access instead of fishing your arm as high as you can to it, and you cant see it from the wheelwell at all either. Maybe this will help someone come up with an easier method! Thanks for your support...
Glad everyone is able to perform the mod and that it's helped so many of you! Thank you again for all of your kind words and support.
Nice video! Would be nice if Megaohm got some recognition in the description ;)
Hey there guys! Will from MegaOhm Motorsports here! I finally was able to get my hands on a Lightning again for development and dug into getting rid of the Frunk Beeper that you all hate. It took my buddy and I a couple of hours to pinpoint where it was coming from and located it. Here is a...
Glad you're loving the product! And you're right, I'd much rather have the natural vehicle noises which are very tolerable than some obvious fake noise.
If anyone else hates the backup and other fake noises the truck makes, you can grab a bypass kit here:

The forscan method is a bit of a hack, the dealers will still see "silent codes" that the speaker is not operating whereas the bypass...
The noises you guys are hearing are the artificial ones from the external speaker. The motors itself are pretty quiet for the most part. If you hate the noise, check this out:

Trust me you're not the only one having this issue. What i've also noticed is that its cell reception related sometimes. Mine disconnects every time on a certain stretch of road on my way to and from work. And other times it will just drop out as well with no reason. I also had Ford message...
