Sad how forums seem to attract so much negativity and assumption of the worst kinds. In this case I believe the OP ran into a maxed out service centre with skilled staff shortage but ultimately I just can't really know. Before everyone jumps on the dealer as being nefarious and poor team/brand...
I've tried the local Petro Canada fast chargers many times over several months. They are terrible and more often down than working. Until they improve, I would not count on them in the dead of winter. I'd recommend checking the reviews/comments on Plugshare for real world results of the actual...
Got my set today. Initial experience is good. Road noise very low despite aggressive tread.
Details:
Rims: KM722 TECHNIC MATTE BRONZE - 18" × 9" w/18 Offset
Tires Pirelli - Scorpion All Terrain Plus 275/70/18 LT 10 ply
No spacers or adjustments to suspension. Just bolted on and no issues of...
I have the non 'Rivian' version ordered in a LT275/75/18 to match the 20" stock height of my Lariat. I'm skeptical there is a big difference as they look the same exact tread. These are well reviewed, especially for wet performance and also for being quiet despite the aggressive pattern. I need...
Sharing is Caring;)
Fast forward 18 months to widespread NACS adoption... How will some Tesla owners feel/react when their Superchargers are suddenly full of non-Tesla cars forcing same Tesla owners to wait or not find charging available at all.
The Superchargers across from my work are quite...
Regarding the CT, the word that sticks out the most in your post is imagine. And you forgot to add unbreakable glass. ;)
There's definitely wisdom in your statement and Ford should always be looking over their shoulder when it comes to the F-150 but I suspect that's exactly why it's always been...
Geez insurance is cheap in Ontario. Seems about double in BC (Bring Cash). I think I'm close to $2K/yr with $2M liability & $1K collision deductible. I'm at maximum discount with 20+ yrs no accident claims so it can't get cheaper.
As far as I'm aware there are no emails from Ford (other than the dealer) and no on-line order system in Canada. I got the call from my dealer and everything was done via email/telephone. I didn't visit the dealer but it was also still Covid times. They took my deposit over the phone as well...
I completely agree. When they "launched" the CT I, like many, thought it was meant to be a joke by Elon. When (or if;)) the day comes when I actually see one driving down the road, I wonder what emotions it will invoke. I just can't believe how many people are interested in this thing. We humans...
I've seen couple. You may know that In Canada the XLT has the same rims as the Lariat so they are hard to differentiate. Look at the tailgate as XLT's don't have the light bar. Also saw my first Pro (fleet only in Canada) in Langley yesterday next to me charging. Surprised me.
Our 2016 Volvo XC90 PHEV does not have AM radio for this reason. Standard ICE XC90's have it. It was a surprise at the time. I use AM locally for live traffic updates.
I received the 3.5.5 update on Nov 17 and then PAAK on the 19th. I am in Canada and not part of any BETA program. I also lost my profile settings including all radio presets and it switched off One Pedal mode. Not a big deal but also not overly convenient, especially considering the cost of...
Mine worked briefly when I first got the truck and then disappeared until 5 days ago. Coincidentally there was a software update the day before. Check that you are getting the updates and try again. Maybe that simple. Good luck.
@Regular150 Gonna be a restless sleep tonight I imagine. Happy to hear its at the dealer waiting for you at last. Enjoy the moment. In the end, unfortunately you were right about being last. Not always good to be right.
