Hello. Has anyone removed the tailgate and disconnected that camera? I'm curious if this triggers a constant in-cab alert or if its a non-issue? I will need to remove it a few times a year when using a slide in camper.
2021 XLT and every time I use the remote start, I enter the cab to see the rear window defrost on. Its clearly set to "last settings" and rear defrost is never used. Is this a issue anyone else has?
Now I'm being told I don't even need to upgrade the tires to 10 ply right away. So everything the camper dealer told me about prepping the truck is actually more about how it feels after I get it and see how it handles
Several tires places have told me the 4 ply OEM tires are rated more than...
I don't know if the camper will block the outlets yet. I've been trying to figure that out since I bought this truck. Won't get the camper until February.
I do know the camper has a shore power plug on the exterior and the camper will have interior access doors to reach the 4 corner tie downs...
My original plan was for the 7.2kw. Had one on order since July but they kept delaying it now into spring. I'll run with my 2.4kw for a couple years and see if the supply chain gets back to normal.
I went with the FWC Raven, for the shorter bed, and just a shell model. I added a few options from there. Dry weight is supposedly 870lbs. Now that I see I might not need the camper batteries that might drop it more. As I said above I still have 3 more months before delivery. I saw the Project M...
Great advice. $750 poorer meaning I should've got the 7.2k Pro Power? I had it on order but after months and months of delays I finally found this truck on the lot and went with it.
I have 3 more months to prepare for this camper delivery. It's a new Four Wheel Camper, Raven shell model. Its...
Thanks. I found CAT scales on the internet, just need to go find one around town. I plan to do very little additional weight, maybe 200-300 pounds max.
I know there are a 100 different 10 ply tires so I'll need to find one thats better for highways and less for off road. Maybe 80% highways, 20%...
Forgive me if this is the wrong topic but I'm starting to plan for a lightweight (870lbs dry) slide in camper for my 2021 Powerboost. Does anyone have experience with this?
I understand the payload rating of 2120 lbs is less relevant and the actual true payload is on the door sticker. For me...
