I have found that Bluecruise is almost useless during a sunny day and the high contrast lines that are used on the interstate I travel . During the day the lines look black and the camera cant see them. At night the lines appear white and it works great.
I have this issue and the easiest way I found was to go to the phones menu, select your phone, tap on the Carplay icon to turn it off and then when it refreshes, turn it back on. Then Ill have audio.

I wish Ford would get this fixed. Ive had no OTA updates at all and the option to turn on automatic updates has always been greyed out. The dealer I took it to seems to be clueless. I wish at least Ford would acknowledge the issue.
