  1. Dash Cam Placement

So one end goes into the back of the mirror and the other end is a USB port? I'm assuming I need a get a whole new different kind of cable that goes to my camera if I use this adapter. For reference, this is my current cable.

Hey Paul, how did you tap into your review mirror? Is that that the hardwire kit from Anker?
  3. Dash Cam Placement

Thank you all for the pics and suggestions. I just purchased a Thinkware Q800 Pro and will most likely install it just right of the mirror stalk. Using the cigarette lighter plug for now but will try to tackle the hardwire kit later on.
  4. Dash Cam Placement

For those of you that installed a dash cam, would you mind posting a pic of where you placed the camera on the windshield? Never had one before but I've read that it should be installed as close to the center of the windshield as possible. I had originally planned on installing it to the right...
  5. Wireless Android Auto not working

Just checked and I don't have the option to enable Android auto in that phone list menu. Probably going to ask the dealer when I bring it in for a faulty sensor next week. Thanks though Kevin!
  6. Wireless Android Auto not working

Anyone else's experiencing wireless android auto not working wirelessly? Mine only works when I plug the cable in, I thought there was an issue back in Jan/Feb that has since been resolved with updates to android auto. I just checked and I'm running Version 6.2.610914
  7. Undercover Armor Flex poor fitment?

I had a chat with Undercover on their website and asked if it's the same cover used on previous gen. They said it's the same cover with different rails. I mentioned that some owners are experiencing poor fitment and they kind of just ignored my comment. Really love the concept but will...
  8. Undercover Armor Flex poor fitment?

I too was going to order this cover but now I'm not so sure. I really like the line X on top to prevent scratches, but if it's too short, then that will be a major problem. Anyone else that installed this cover have any observations/pics?
  9. Camper Shell Brake Light (RSI Smartcap)

Thanks for the update. Make sure to post some pics when it's all said and done. Definitely interested in this cap.
  10. Camper Shell Brake Light (RSI Smartcap)

Hey Adam, did you ever get this sorted out? Also, I know you had an issue with fitment, did they send you the new piece yet? I've emailed them a couple times now and still no response.
  11. Under Coating and Paint Protection

Here I thought I was finally done with Krown. Guess I'll be visiting them again this year.
  12. Under Coating and Paint Protection

I thought the frame was steel and the body aluminum.
  13. Under Coating and Paint Protection

Since the F150 is aluminum, is it still necessary to get the underbody protection?
  14. What are you driving in the mean time?

I'm also still driving my trade in, dealer never mentioned anything about it. Gave me a very fair deal for it as well.
  15. Ceramic Coating requires top clear coat layer to be removed?

Looks very nice Adam! Can you take some pics of the whole truck with the smart cap? Also debating that cap and would love to see it on a 2021.
  16. 5.5 ft vs 6.5 ft bed payload capacity

Thank you rucus0101! It didn't even cross my mind there would be differences between PB and non PB trucks. I ordered a PB so guess I won't change my order to the longer bed. Appreciate the info.
  17. 5.5 ft vs 6.5 ft bed payload capacity

Wondering if anyone can help me out, all things being equal, does a longer bed typically have less payload capacity? I like the longer bed but I'm afraid it's going to eat into my payload.
