Do you mean this comment you wrote? “They havent given me any definitive answer about specific connection with orange lead in front of driver side that some have said was not connected properly”
  2. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

that might be true but in my case it shuts off as soon as I get out of the car wash or if it's raining or there's snow on the ground.
  3. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

Synce1, can you please let me know what you find, specifically what the connection points were. I am looking for this exact same thing so I can have Ford look at mine. Thanks!!
  4. Pro Power Ground Locations

So, it seems to me that the reason the Pro Power is shutting off during rain, snow or right after a car wash is there is a ground that is exposed to and shorting out. Does anyone have a diagram that shows the grounding location for the Pro Power harness?
  5. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

Well I guess our issues are similar but not exactly the same. The car wash does not immediately shut my Pro Power off. After my post last Wednesday my Pro Power shut off on Thursday and hasn’t come back on. We had no snow or rain on Thursday, an inch or two on Friday, but nothing significant...
  6. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

So my situation is very different. It’s 15 degrees here, I went to the car wash last night on my way home. The Pro Power turn off, parked the truck in my heated garage (55 degrees is the temp it set at) and all day today no issues with the Pro Power, it stayed on all day.
  7. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

Let us know if they find anything. I agree there has to be a ground that is getting wet.
  8. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

I take my truck to the car wash all the time and no issues. We had our 1st big snow storm on Jan 17th. 12 inches. Didn't leave the house until the next day. Pro Power kept turning off. Called my dealer and he got me in a few hours later. The tech said there's an update coming out in April to...
  9. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

I just realized it's only the 400W interter that powers on when I start the truck, it show circuit A but only 400W available.
  10. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

Thanks for the FYI, I actually don’t leave it on, when I start the truck Bank A powers up automatically since it’s the outlets inside the truck.
  11. Pro Power Onboard keep turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets

I just got my F150 Lariat PB 7.2KW a week and a half ago. Today while driving the Pro Power Onboard kept turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets. Once I got to my destination and the truck sat for 6 hrs the problem did not happen again. Again I had nothing plugged into any...
  12. 12 volt inverter recommendation

Thanks, I looked at the 120v winch ratings and they are no where near the 12v. I was planning on using a 2/10/50 amp charger that I know on the 50amp has enough power to use the winch. Before I spend $470 for a Bulldog wiring kit I’ll install the 240v connector and install a couple 15 amp...
  13. 12 volt inverter recommendation

Ok that was easy, a 120v winch is expensive, looks like a battery charger or tender will be the way to go.
  14. 12 volt inverter recommendation

Yeah I can see that an inverter will work. I never really thought about a 120v winch. Thanks, I might look at that too. Thanks.
  15. 12 volt inverter recommendation

Yeah I kind of figured that might be the case.
  16. 12 volt inverter recommendation

I have the 7.2KW generator and I’m trying to eliminate the 12 volt battery that powers my winch to pull my car into my enclose trailer. I bought a 110V AC to 12V DC Converter Power Supply Adapter Switch Transformer Max 50A 600W hoping I could it would power my 4500 lb winch in my trailer but it...
