I don't think when you reserved one matters at all. I reserved ones they night of release. And I've received no info from Ford since than. And my dealer is unaware that they even closed reservations yesterday.
They are very easy to replace your self.
The thing i just kept thinking about was some nor report about how Ford had tested their cushions for 200k+ slide outs to make it the strongest they could. Probably where talking about the lariat maybe.
I owned a 2017 f250 xlt. I bought it used with 14k miles on it. It did not have side steps so the original owner was sliding out all the time. The seat was already worn and needing replacement.
I ordered with in the first 4 hours. and I've gotten just one email since May about the lightning. Id be very surprised if they do it chronological. My dealer which is a small dealer also never gives me updates and whenever I ask they have no idea what's going on with the lightning
