Think I'm going to pick up a used F-150 to tide me over. I originally figured I'd see the my truck in June, but now I wouldn't be shocked if that is September-October. A similarly spec'ed dealer-stock truck is showing an X-Plan price of almost $10K over mine. And we know that ain't happening.
Right. I'm fairly certain that helper springs/bump stops/etc. will not be compatible with smart hitch unless there's a way to recalibrate in the field. And if there are robots involved in initial calibration, that sounds pretty involved...
CCD should be fine, Smart Hitch is a different situation. I’ve emailed with all the manufacturers of helper spring setups and bump stop replacements, yet to get a good response on the Smart Hitch. My sense is they're not compatible unless there are recalibration with new deflection parameters...
