Bob messages me or Jesse and in most cases, we'll figure it out. Bob would need FORScan. There are some valid cases were rolling something back was the only way to fix it and when that happens, we are happy to help. I helped someone roll back a module on the F150 forum earlier this week to...
Unless Jesse or I (or anyone else) already have the files and can share them with you. I have some files to fix common issues that plagued job 1 F150's and Mach E's, but my database is very small. During the good old days before Ford messed up FDRS for us, getting the files was very easy. Had I...
For most modules, the short is answer is yes. But, it would require having the old files before the new files install. You would need FDRS to get the current files so when the new ones install, you can roll it back using alternative methods.
Whether your truck has Bluecruise, ACC or not, it still has an IPMA module, so you will get the update anyway. It will still improve lane cenetering and overall performance of whatever driver assist features you do have.
Ok, so if it's not purple, at least the SCCM is not bricked. Strange that it keeps losing comms. You sure you wired everything correctly and there are no loose connections? The SCCM you bought now..... you sure it's the correct part number for this project? I've never done what you're doing, so...
@daniel2130 If the Mongoose failed the PMI, then the TopDon won't help. Codes being reported by your truck cite incompatible config and an incorrect component installed. Tbh, I am not sure how to fix this. What color is the SCCM in FDRS when it does comminucate? Orange or purple?
It's funny, because when I looked up our messages to get your VIN, you told me in the message that you have two. It never occurred to me that the dealer was pulling the incorrect VIN. It's a silly mistake, but I see how that can happen.
To add to this, this is the SSM referenced by the P0887 code:
Below are all the stored codes your truck reported today. Notice that some of the codes referenced by the SSM are in your code history. Could this just be a loose 12v battery connection? Easy enough to check.
These EV specific issues are not my area of expertise, but maybe @Mike G or @Jesse-Infotainment can shed some light. I have seen issues with the heat pumps causing those errors on the EV's, but it is not easy for me to diagnose these types of things based on just codes.
Ok, some maybe for you guys, it added some additional climate control features to the existing ones? Just trying to do my best to make sense out of it. My truck did not get any climate controls added to the app, but some 2022-2023 owners are saying they did and others are saying they didn't...
Nice! It seems like it works for some trucks and not for others that got the update. I guess we will see if it works for these trucks more consistently as people chime in.
