When you look at current competition they could've put a lot less effort into the 14th generation as a whole, and they'd still have been ahead of everyone else.
Looks are subjective and it's not for me, but as a product I have to say Toyota does make a damn good argument for themselves here. They've pretty much mastered Hybrid tech. Embrace competition, it keeps everyone on their A-game!
I have one. I get the passenger side one so I can reach my bed light switch. Works good for all the crap you typically leave loose in your truck bed but can't handle more than a couple hitches, some straps and little other odds and ends.
Does anyone know of a way to write reverse brake assist completely out of the truck? Mine jams on the brakes for no reason every single time I back into my driveway and when I shut it off it chimes at me every time I shift to reverse to let me know it's off. It's making me real annoyed with the...
The Unleashed has the same sub. This little turd of a sub is the downfall of the Unleashed system for sure. I'm going to add a single 10 on a mono amp and a LOC and that should clear that issue up.
Specifically the 1994 MTV Live version of Hotel California by the Eagles is a great tune to shake down any good audio system. Great surround from that track that will give all of your speakers a workout.
The unleashed is a great platform for the money. Very powerful and distinguished mids and highs. It will not blow your head off but it stays clean right to the top end. Definitely lacks low-end at higher volumes ESPECIALLY at speed. The weak point in this audio system is the little fart can sub...
I'd love to see a PHEV plug in F150 that has the ability to run on full electric until it depletes and then acts as a regular hybrid. That would work perfect for my short weekly commute but also wouldn't leave me in a jam out in the bush with my trailer if I run out of power.
For being only a 2" level the new RL level looks like it lifts the front end up a ton on these trucks. I've done a 2" level and larger tires on every one of my personal trucks and the trucks I'm seeing with this kit look very tall in the front. I like it.
For all those curious, the correct...
I've never driven a HDPP regular cab but we have a few crew long bed HDPP's at work. They're definitely firm almost like a 3/4 ton ride. I would imagine the shorter wheelbase and lighter weight of the regular cab HDPP would make for a pretty stiff ride.
The biggest difference in comfort I find...
I'm sure they will find a way to relocate the bracket to make it work. Having an airbag kit with on-board compressor that talked to the level sensor and automatically adjusted would be amazing... but I doubt they'd ever go that far into it.
I've always said that Ford should be offering a rear...
I sent an email to Firestone to look into whether my 2015-2020 Ride-Rite Airbag kit will work with 2021 trucks as I have a Lariat on order. Apparently due to the (very odd and rudimentary) headlight leveler arm things on the rear leaf springs the 502a+ trucks will have to wait for them to figure...
I get what you mean. At least having more EQ adjustments would be nice, however too much intricacy can confuse the masses. Being an audio nerd I would love to fiddle around with that sh*t for hours, others may not. :ROFLMAO:
Definitely the best deal considering the basic B&O system definitely...
I consider myself an audiophile (audio-obsessed but who's keeping track) so the announcement of a premium audio system in the new F-150 got me really excited especially being a several-time F-150 owner and being massively underwhelmed with all of their audio systems. I finally got my chance to...
