More details on the Pro Power system (sensitive GFCI?) that might apply to our situation of certain items not powering up...
I am not seeing even the closest (1mi) DCFC chargers when I filter for the fast chargers only, just some far away (10mi) L2 chargers. Maybe my location, for that Public Charger app, is confused? I do not think so, it is reporting correct distances. Ford Nav has been useless, putting me out in...
Yes, me too, on what is this "CV"# compared to software update #s and SYNC version #s?
I show Software Update 6.14.0, with Current Version 8.x, and SYNC Version 4.0.23306 for this 2022 XLT 312a SR.
Has anyone reported their mileage, build date, the HV battery State of Health (from the Car Scanner App reading from the OBD2 port), and charging practices, and then reported a battery cell failure?
For one data point, I am at 13K miles, build date of October 2022, and 99.5% SoH, usually...
Once again this happened last night on our 2022 XLT 312a after parking at a street curb. The side mirrors' bottom lights, running boards, bed, and tailgate lights must have stayed on for 15 minutes which I could not wait to check. Came out 2 hrs later and they had turned off. Did not see any...
If you would be so kind, please share your Year, Model, SR/ER, Build Date (driver's door) and Mileage? I am tracking Power Malfunction/Reduced Power failures for battery module replacements...see my spreadsheet in my signature below. Thanks!
I think both the SR & ER have 96 x ~4Volt cells are in series, #1-8 modules w/ 11 cells, & #9 module w/ 8 cells. 96x4 is 384Vdc.
Also, I think SR cells are made of 4 sub-cell "pouches" in parallel for 107.6kWh max, 98kWh useable; ER cells have 5 sub-cell "pouches" in parallel for 143.4kWh max...
Yes, multiple bad cells has happened. One person has suffered 4 times.
See this thread below of over 700 comments and my spreadsheet in my signature to get an idea of the PM/RP problem, still going on, if one has a bad cell in any of the 9 modules (containers) containing 96 cells overall...
I guess we are just wondering what type of extension cord beyond what Tesla provides could handle the high current required for ~150kW for an extended time.
"Order ID: FAE:90023720
Shipped Date: 2024-10-29"
But I received one already on 2024-10-28...will I be getting another?
:)
serial number shows 24-248 (build date Sept 5?)...mind the gap? for drainage?
Weird. My queen Westinghouse blanket failed to come on and never worked again after plugging it into the truck bed ProPower. However, this second blanket works, although i did have other things plugged in, like our Bodega refrigerator. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W829F3F/
I am very lucky if I get 2.0 on the freeway which is most of my miles. October 24-25th, 66.9kWh was reported used via my Tesla wall connector app (in 8h37m), whereas Ford is reporting 71kWh, (and Ting Voltage drop monitor shows btw 9p-4+am = 7+hrs) strange. Forgot Emporia, shows about...
Yes, hate to see the lost kW between power input (71kWh) from a wall "charger" EVSE to actual HV battery kWhr stored (62% of SR 98kWhr = 60.7kWhr) or 85.6% conversion efficiency I think. Does conversion efficiency change with depth of charging or rate of charging?
My FitcamX does not automatically start recording, I think if it has not been connected to its App for some? time. Frustrating .
Maybe I will try the second phone or do the wired Android Auto.
Also, I can get about 350 1 minute recordings, about 4.5 hrs. So if you want to download a video, say...
