Hello folks. Been watching all this for a while.
I got a Mongoose and FDRS license for the first time yesterday and ran through the process to apply all the outstanding updates to my 2023 Lariat.
I didn't have any problems; all the updates I ran seem to have gone through their process...
I did read those but misinterpreted to understand that the fix was already available, but I simply hadn't received it OTA yet. Sounds like, in fact, it's not out yet.
Thanks for clarifying!
Update: upon returning home (perhaps two hours elapsed), I started the truck and all was normal. Temps were actually a tiny bit below dead center, which I don't believe I've ever seen before (though I don't pay close attention).
Well. That explains it.
Just experienced the same issue with my 2023 Lariat ER. Truck has about 7,500 miles on it, was in the shop for 39 days early summer to have a battery module replaced under 23H01.
I got in this evening to drive to dinner. Truck lives in my garage, and in any case it’s been quite cool today (65°F...
I'm considering giving Monaco in Glastonbury a shot. My wife test drove a Mustang Mach-E there last year and they treated us very well, and seemed fairly knowledgable. I also had been in contact with them during this module replacement fiasco and was close to transferring the truck to them to...
You can build a gas station practically anywhere. High speed chargers require access to electrical infrastructure and substantial up-front capital investment even when that infrastructure is readily available.
This was ultimately resolved on Day 39 in the shop (Friday). Picked it up and immediately put about 600 miles on it going from Hartford, CT up to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and back. Truck performed great, so hopefully that's the end of this issue now.
To provide some more detail on this: the service manager was a little more specific about the part/tool they are waiting on.
He said there is a "plug" or "adapter" that is used with the charge balancer that they don't have.
If you look at this very helpful video (was already posted elsewhere...
Coming up on the end of the fifth week with my truck in the shop.
Dealer has told me that they did put it on the lift and started the module replacement Monday, but as of yesterday (Wednesday) they realized that they did not have a piece of equipment (not a part, but apparently a tool or other...
I've been avoiding this post because I didn't think I had anything new or interesting to say about this issue (which has affected others), but at this point, I need to put it out there.
I have a 2023 F-150 Lightning Lariat ER that I took delivery of in December 2022. I love the truck...when...
I charged at this spot in Brewster, NY last night. The pedestal at the end that is centered on the parking pad was perfect for the Lightning, though if it's a completely full station some multi-point turning would be required on exit.
Great location, like many Tesla Supercharger sites. This one...
I have respect for the acumen of many of you that have posted on this thread, as it relates to tax matters.
That said, I have not been able to find an official source that indicates the 30C credit extension applies to charging apparatus put into service between January 1, 2022 and December 31...
I called Ford Customer Service today just to see what they'd say when asked for a status update. I was told my truck is on a "microchip hold" but that the current estimated delivery window to the dealer is between December 2–5. The rep did emphasize that this was a preliminary estimate that...
