Update: upon returning home (perhaps two hours elapsed), I started the truck and all was normal. Temps were actually a tiny bit below dead center, which I don't believe I've ever seen before (though I don't pay close attention). Well. That explains it.

You can build a gas station practically anywhere. High speed chargers require access to electrical infrastructure and substantial up-front capital investment even when that infrastructure is readily available.

This was ultimately resolved on Day 39 in the shop (Friday). Picked it up and immediately put about 600 miles on it going from Hartford, CT up to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and back. Truck performed great, so hopefully that's the end of this issue now.
